There is no comparison between sajal and yumna... both are depicting a scary dark side of our society in a great manner.
People feel sajals character more valuable. But from my side both are equal.
People always shows sympathy for village people. But they forget that the people from cities are also suffering in different manner.
Zarnab got little pressure from father and then she gave up although she can achieve anything by her own but still she sacrified.in contrast meenu has no source of income but she is doing everything what she wants. Although there is a little bit unrealistic things but the women empowerment is shown.
Zarnab is showing the issues which should be addressed to teach a nation that little little questions we don't ask and we are paying for this as a nation.
Meenu is showing all these for village side.
From village side there is nothing new..we have many stories for that
But from cities, that very gentleman who don't want to do that but they have no choice. They are under pressure of the system. They can't fight alone.

Shamoon raised very valid points about the lingo. If you’re showing a certain area in Karachi, the drama needs to reflect that authentically.
Having said that, i love this drama. Episode 11 was a masterpiece, I watched it twice. The scene between Munna and Rehmati was so intense and emotional. And the last scene between Munna and Zarnab was heart melting.
Ps…I don’t agree with Shamoon that the romantic triangle in this drama has lusty undertones. These are mature men, not adolescents, and neither is Zarnab. Munna, in fact, has immense respect for Zarnab, to the point that he can’t even look at her. It’s a very sweet romance that’s developing between them. ❤
That’s ironic because most of his past dramas had very blatant lusty undertones…

I am 💯 agreed with shamoon Abbasi. The houses they showed not look like korangi housing. Korangi has khuchi abadiyaa, but they are all newly built .
Language spoken in korangi is pure and clear urdu. It was one of the main areas of one of the biggest political party.
All over, the writer and producer did not research adequately, I must say. I think Shamoon Abbasi could give them handful knowledge about Korangi.😅

Shamoon Abbasi is clearly talking about the scenes. Neither it is challenging to shoot there. In new drama Khbhi hum Khbhi tum, the producer shoot in Karachi famous area local market, on II chundrigar road.

Khalil Ur Rehman as a writer is one of a kind and if judges fail to understand his writing, his story telling, his life lessons then its judges are at loss.
