Echo wants a 12” bar on there 14” bar max! That 16”is not even fair. I run the 2511 on 12” and for pruning it’s a beast, nice and light weight, one handed all day. Thanks for video 😎
MedjOOL Maker hi. It wasn't about fairness. It was about differentials and a bench mark for the Echo.. Once the owner of the cs-2511T decides on which zipkit to install it will get run again - with the same bar and untouched chain. If the owner decides to " pony up", it's going to pull the 16" ensemble nicely at that point. Thanks for watching
Yeah most people are on the stihl or husqvarna train, but I just jumped off and tried echo and pretty impressed. Japanese engineering is the best in my opinion. The 2511 is made in Japan. 5 year warranty for homeowner and 20% on sale (couple times of year on their website, certain dealers have 20% any echo product)
Ive fell in love with Husqvarna & am an avid watcher of your channel. Here in Michigan i keep it down to a 14" bar on my ms192tc & the pico chain is priceless on these smaller cc saws. Thats a nice Husky man. Ive got the 372xp but that'll be my next climbing saw for sure. & id LOVE one of your "Insano port jobs" on my 372xp! Ive learned A LOT about saws from you sir. Thank you for that!
Watching that Echo made my wrist hurt from here! With a little more HP or a little less chain it'd probably be pretty good. Curious to see what you come up with when you're done with the ZipKit. Haven't really had the chance to run any newer Echo stuff, but the older (early to mid 80's) stuff I have experience with was pretty good, but they were heavy.
Nice vid Jack. Not sure why you would put a 16" bar on that lil echo saw not what it's designed for. I'd like to see the ms150 pull that bar which is more of a fair comparison.
Noah Schwartz hi. Partially because the wood is hard. Partially because the stops are down a few thousandths to far for the teeth angles. Partially because the Echo is a little under powered in stock form. Thanks for watching.
The husky had a bit of a loose grip on the log. The echo had a looser grip. Are these looser grips due to the rate of change of rpms as the chain bites or maybe due to the weight imbalance as a saw is revved up (they all seem to pivot the bar higher upon WOT)? And it will be interesting to see the influence of the pro chain on the husky for sure. Oh and i can't help but think the smaller 25cc echo may benefit from having chain that is less aggressive (thinner wood chips) but this is how they are sold. Keep the vids rolling. Thanks :)
Mack Macgillivary hi. The Echo was struggling with that much bar and chain. No way could it be dawged in. I like my chains to feed themselves through the cut. I try to equal in the comparison testings so that it's about the saws and nothing else. The Husky is set up with .325 chain (and that one is a safety version) so it was at a little bit of a disadvantage compared to the others. The Echo is going to a chain pulling enhancement operation at which point it will be pulling that length of bar nicely, I think. Thanks for watching.
@@Sensei948 hi. Interesting Avatar... I tune by ear on saws that I use in the field. Slight miss at high idle. Elevation will have a slight affect on the process as well. You will have to tune it in your location for optimum performance. Best of luck. Thanks for watching.
How was this an equal comparison at all??? The stihl had damn near twice the ccs. And the echo cs2511t is rated for a 14" bar max... should have ran an echo cs400 if you wanted to be close to the same 🤦♂️
Kord hi. The 2511T comes in at 25 cc. The 200s are 35cc. So the 200s are not double as you infer. You need to watch the next vid where the 2511 keeps up with (after the mods of course) the stock 200. This was the baseline for stock vs. stock. No one was thinking the 2511 would keep up with or out perform the 200 before the mods. Thanks for watching.
*push the primer 6 times and let it rip I like the saw for the price👀 **allabout.wiki/Echo-CS** used maybe 10 tanks of fuel, 6 loads of hard wood and am very pleased with it. some will say its under powered for a 20" but I like it better then a 18". I have a 18" also which is great also just like the extra 2" inches. the saw is very light also which is nice. Huskavarna owns Echo so I am sure it will last. its not a sthl but still love it! I have seen some bad reviews on the saw but do not agree with them. some people told me not to waste my money but have since changed there mind. just have some common sense and cut some wood!*
I love Echo saws. They need to spend more dollars advertising so people know about them because they make good quality chainsaws.

I would like to see what a ported Cali edition husqvarna would do being 45cc
Hey Jack,
Would love to see some bench talk on the Echo line. I think that CS-620 W would be a strong saw in the right builders hands.
Nick
Its a strong saw as is. I juat muffler modded mine and it rips.

Yeah I climb with a Echo CS-355. Runs great and is built in Japan too. Very impressed.
I too would like to see a 620P psycho'd...

I’m stuck between the the Stihl 193t and the 338xpt 🤔🤔🤔 what do you think for a climbing saw
Mr Benitez hi. A 200 T with the Insane-O SS or Psy-Ko zippkit "wood" be my preference.
Thanks for watching.

Nice job on the video? Great comparison. Anti kick Anti cut?
toolspayless hi. Usually the anti-kickback chain does not cut well. Some of the mild anti-kick can be made to cut pretty well. Thanks for watching.
would love to find out why some of your vids have audio and others don't
That chain is to much for that saw. So is the bar.

Rick Evens hi. Please the response to MedjOOL Maker. It's spelled out there.
Thanks for watching.
Why was the chain bar shaking so much

That uncle adolf special isn’t as impressive as i thought it’d be.
lol that little echo did not want to pull that chain
Rich Herman, no shit it’s way underpowered compared to the other saws
It appears to me that of all the bone stock saws, the Stihl ran and cut the best.
Nice!!!!👍👍
Yo maybe edit the bar change out lol….
Please pORT ECHO N GIVE DETAILS ABOUT WHAT U WOULD DO OR DID PLEASE!!! Nobody has yet August had chainsaw guy just do muffler I believe
