- The process of making various household cleaning agents such as Bathing Soap, Washing Powder, “Azuma blows” Soap, and Bleach happened during a skills training program organized by the Young Urban Women’s Movement/ActionAid Resource Centre at Kpobiman in Accra, Ghana. -Soda ash 6cups
-Base 6 cups
-Chlorine 3 cups
-Caustic soda 1/4 cup
🏹WASHING POWDER
-Soda ash 2cups
-Rice powder 1 cup
-Base 1cup
-Perfume (optional)
🏹AZUMA BLOWS (RUSSIA BOMB) SOAP
-Palm oil 3cups
-Kaolin powder ½ cup
-Caustic soda solution 2 cups
🏹BAR SOAP
-Palm oil 2cups
-Cautic Soda Solution ½ cup
-Perfume (according to your preference)

Hi everyone. I am a soap and detergent maker And I work for a company in Pakistan since 2000, but when I watched this Video it was amazing to know how simply they are working without any proper instrument, in a friendly environment it really motivated me. The process is not bad but I think there must be some improvement to upgrade it for marketing I mean after some changing in formula of laundry soap it will cost you a bit cheaper by using some filler or additives.
So please help us with a simple formula

@@khadijahkhalidgh that would be great because I checked on the internet for rice powder, I got rice flour while for soap base I got caustic soda, which might not be the same.

Hi Daisy, your local carpenter can help you acquire the cutting tool.
Pls how do I check the gravity of my hydrometer for the bathing soap and bar soap
before you drop the hydrometer into the caustic soda, check on the hydrometer, there is a red and green mark on it so after you drop the hydrometer into the caustic soda, if you realise that the hydrometer is on the red line, it means it is too harsh to use, so you add more water to it and then drop the hydrometer again. Repeat that until the hydrometer level in the caustic soda is on the green meaning it is safe to use for your soap. PLEASE WEAR GLOVES WHILE DOING THIS
