- Hope Thrift Stores are an extension of the ministry of Hope Children’s Home. Every donation and purchase contributes directly to the care and education of the over 80 abused, neglected, unwanted and orphaned children residing at Hope Children’s Home.
Stop by our stores and see our good selection of clothes, shoes, furniture, electronics and household items. You may even find that collectible you’ve always wanted. Our friendly staff would love to help you save some money while helping us care for the children.

So this is my store, our ac is actually scheduled to be repaired today 😂.Thank you so much for doing a blog we appreciate it. We buy most of our items directly from disney. Our last few reno projects with disney were saratoga springs and all star music resorts! The hidden mickey sofas are from the all star suites!

Love when you go to all thrifting stores, can’t believe the deals in that one the entertainment unit with the tv and small refrigerator for $105. Incredible and the Mickey sofa sleeper for $149 wow

Just FYI...we stopped by. The guy at the counter was showing everyone your video...so proud and appreciative for the support! My kid is into anything vintage electronic...so he picked up some VHS tapes to watch with his grandma...including the orange Harriet movie you suggested!
I am beyond jealous 😢. We would never have anything like that in the UK (for obvious reasons 🤣) but seriously Disney is missing out. There are crazy Disney freaks like me all over the world that would love a lil bit of pre loved Disney magic in their homes. Love these videos Nate, keep em coming. 👍
Would definitely love to see more exploring non disney/universal locations. We used to stay on the 192 back in the day and still love places like old Town to this day!

My husband and I purchased a Disney dresser that came from CBR. It was $75.00 at the Hope Thrift store in Dundee, Fl. We bought it because we spent our honeymoon and first wedding anniversary at CBR.

Also it seems like a lot of thrift stores have problems with the a\c because the buildings they are in older shopping plazas that are not well maintained

That's so cool that a thrift store near WDW would have some of the resort furniture! We have some GF chairs we bought when they were remodeling about 10 years ago, but we got them from a sale held at a hotel ballroom in Orlando, selling lots of GF stuff they were changing out.

Property Control and Cast Connection is still around! It's off Western Way, behind Animal Kingdom for Cast Members, Operating Participants, and their guests. I have found some neat items at Property Control, but it's a lot like what he does on this video.
It’s also neat to see some of Central Florida’s unique roadside shops and stuff. There’s so many especially in the Orlando Kissimmee area. Would love to see more stuff like this Nate!
Now I want to drive my van down to there from way up here in Wisconsin to pick up one of those sleeper sofas. Whenever I get down that way, I'll have to plan a week of thrifting in addition to the park time.

So I popped in to this thrift store today (I'm local too, and never had visited!) Happily Ever After was still sticking out of place, and I had to push it back in. Then two little books fell on my toe. 😅
It was neat to see so much actual older stuff, not just cheap souvenirs. I love thrifting! I was actually surprised not just by the Disney furniture but the huge amount of furniture they had in general.
I did find some canvas art to paint over and frames to use with my watercolor art. :)
I appreciate you posting videos like this, because as I mentioned, I am local too (Kissimmee) and I haven't explored a lot along 192 by Disney. 192 always has crazy traffic!

I think as Dis fans we all have some plan to move to Orlando…. Whether we pull the trigger is another thing lol. But that video showed exactly where to go to get some very affordable furniture and decor for someone that might be needing a sofa…. There also appeared to be several kitchen sets. And the entertainment center deal was insane. Anyone in the area wanting a man cave. There’s you’re starter set right there. TV and a mini fridge.
