My Apple TV has been working fine, but right now all the internet I have is cellular data which is unlimited, I can’t hotspot because I only have 10 GB of that, but I can play it on my phone and supposedly airplay but every time I try to airplay video to my Apple TV it just sits on a loading bar and goes no where. Apparently I have found no where telling me a fix for this problem, or what I can do. When you are jailbreaking the Apple TV and you are at the part where you have to put it in dfu mode, would it be jailbroken if I just take the wire out and use it on my tv without putting it in dfu? If not what can I do to put it in dfu mode because I do not have a remote and I'm broke. (P.S I have already tried the redsn0w thing to put it in dfu mode but it didn't work). Thanks

Thanks for the video, but your link to Fire core only seems to have the teathered version. The start of the update to the apple box seems to go well, but after I do the secound remote thing (DFU MODE) after a few min I get a "failed to reset USBcounters" Can you help?

If it is still asking for you to plug the USB lead, then the driver for the lead/ATV2 has not installed, i found that i needed to uninstall old unused iTunes and install latest, iTunes will install correct driver. Then plug ATV into itunes, it will detect your device, then turn iTunes of. Then when i ran FC all was good. That was what worked for me.

I jailbroke my neighbor's Apple 2 using the SeasonPass and it said it succesfuly updated. However, when she hooked it up to her TV, the things like Hulu and such still needed codes. I know absolutely nothing about how ATV is supposed to work so maybe I'm missing something? Any help would be great!
so when i try to put mine into dfu mode after 7 seconds or so it flashes rapidly but seas0npass doesnt seem to recognise it in dfu mode once i let go of the buttons the atv dissapears from finder for a second and comes back but still not in dfu mode even though button is flashing
