Marcel Marceau English Subtitles

The film tells the story of the life of French mime Marcel Marceau through the eyes of children. It shows the connection with the city of Kolín in Czech Republic and our native Jean Gaspard Deburau. It is the result of a project at our primary school, during which the actor Martin Sochor, the only Czech graduate of the Marcel Marceau school of mime in Paris, visited us. He gave the children a lot of valuable information about his teacher and the children also participated in a pantomime workshop under his guidance. At the end of the school year, we also had a workshop organised by Czech Television, which resulted in a reportage about the preparatory phase of the film made by the children of our school under the guidance of experts from the television.
