I still remember encountering the title track Wet Land by Hiroshi Yoshimura for the first time. I was awe struck by its beauty and infinite tenderness, and it was one of those moments that made me grateful for being alive. The respective albums in this series have already been uploaded by others on the internet. The intention of me putting them together is just so that if someone discovers them like I did, there is an easier option to experience the series in its entirety. The audio quality is kept at 320kbps for best enjoyment.
Do you happen to know more about the back story of this series? I've been meaning to do more research to find the concept, ideal and message behind the creation of this series, but the relevant information seems to be quite limited online. Please shed some light into the comments, and share your love with the world.

This is how they made so many great video game soundtracks.
I enjoy that the Japanese artists seem to place an importance on harmony in their music. A lot of ambient by western artists is very experimental and atonal which is cool too, but sometimes I just want to chill out without it being a demanding listening experience.

"Bre'r", "Ant'lrd, Braeyden Jae, Matthew David and Benoit Pioulard... some of the experimental sentinels homie might be making his point about. which couldnt be more true. i listen to these more than anything else tho. consisting of self sampling and collages on tape. but yes thoughtful enough to ware you out if youre just trying to sleep. they embrace other elements besides musical instruments for sounds. like field recording. and circuit bending. yes. 🍱🍙🍤🍠@@SoundCastle00 remember, theres always Stars of the Lid to fall back on.🌠

This video has made a huge difference in my life. Listen to it every day when trying to calm down.
I suffer a lot from anxiety. When I actually have time to settle down a little bit, usually before going to sleep, I meditate a little, and I get high and put this collection on, in no particular order.
This may possibly be one of the most beautiful and sonically articulate pieces of art that i've ever experienced. It's eternally graceful and very ethereal, which i got to say is something that japanese art captures very well. I'm so grateful i can listen to this in this lifetime. Thank you.

"ハート・ランド Heart Land" might be the best ambient composition i've ever heard.
I’d recommend giving the album “air” a listen. Same guy who composed the track you mentioned. Hiroshi Yoshimura is just incredible overall.

The images that wet land gives me in my head are images that I have seen before in a way. Maybe in dreams that I had 10 years ago when I was a child. They are abstract and without people. All that is missing are emotions that were attached. I guess that is because I'm much different now.

The album Kankyo Ongaku issued by Light in the Attic is a good place to start as it introduces signature pieces from the era 1980-1990 during the Japanese environment music movement. Some other albums on this channel also resemble the aesthetics of this series.
