Absolutely dreamy tune. Hooked from the first time i heard it. Gives me the same kinda feeling as ''Over and over'' by Michael Cooper and '' Your the one '' by THE EMOTIONS. TIMELESS
Classic! I always hear this tune on da radio just as it dun and the dj wouldn't say the track name or the artist. Went BBQ last week and heard it the rest is history.
Cor! Takes me back to when I was 17 and my mate would have to come round my house in a long skirt and church top and change into shorts and customised bra 'top' (regular bra with bits sewed on!) whereupon we'd head out to the wotless likes of Nightmoves (The Right Moves....not!). Ahhhh. Them woz the days........
Funny to read all the comments mentioning the old club names. What an era, almost like it never existed except for when tunes like this drop and memories flow back. Boy did we have fun packed weekends in those days. All lost on today's generation due to a distinct lack of the same thanks to draconian local councils that killed of the word FUN in my book.
moonlighting, went there too, and it was ok. i just remember this from then. Oasis was always fun , and even though moonlighting had ppl looking nice, the vibe was always a bit vanilla, i was there opening night, didnt really improve much at all.
1 if you went to nations, u had to prepare to be felt up by dudes in a string vest, scant antiperspirant and plentiful halitosis. thats if youre a girl. The best club in hackney was Oasis, nightmoves always had too much trouble, and nations was crusty.
those "some ppl" would be me. and i think you getting your time frame mixed up my dear, truly weave never really took off in those early days, people were still just doing pieces and wigs. if you were sporting a weave in 89/90 there was only one place that did it, Lapaz, notting hill, ( dont ask me how i know.....200 pounds l8r *cough*) i used to go to that other one just above Wong Kei too, dont know if its still there, but those days you had a good choice that didnt bruk your pocket.
Big up to my rare groove ravers 😄👌🏽. Blues dance crew
I hear the Emotions' voices and now that I've read others' comments, I'm glad many do too.
NIGHT MOVES! Saturday nights. OOOOOHWEEEEE!
Nice One DJShilling, Thank you

Moonlighting was an older crowd. I agree vibes was not there. People dressed up nice and fancy but not much dancing going on.
I wish I was around, I need an older lady😂

That's right . No one was really wearing wigs. It was jerry/curly perm, relaxer, hair up in pony tail or single plaits.
I CAN'T RELAPSE
I CAN'T GO BACK
