I feel real lucky. I put in an Order or a Pan America Special, and I got it in less than a month. I was waiting for the Triumph Tiger 1200. Spring release, but the dealer had no Idea when they would get one in. They already had almost 10 Deposits.
Well I don't know if I have the patience to wait for a bike that hasn't even been built!! I would give them a little more time, but not too much. Don't waste a whole season when you could be having fun on something else Good video man!
Thank you! If I didnt have my Scout I'd definitely have gotten something else by now. I'll keep waiting and I'll rethink my situation of nothing has changed by June.
I feel you!!! I'm in the same boat. Bike was due 31st March and it's still not here. The bad thing is that apparently due to too many phone calls, Yamaha have decided to just send dealerships a monthly report on bike statuses, so now my bike is overdue, I have to wait until end of month report to find out why 🤦🏼♀️.
@@Valorcycle that's true, I'm thankful I'm getting updates at least. I've ordered the 2021/22 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT 😁. It's quite a big upgrade compared to my MT-03 but I'm so excited for it and can't wait to start filming content with my new bike!
Yeah it's widespread so I don't fault them for that as that's very much out of their control. I do wish they could be more transparent so I'll have some indication how long I'll be waiting.
@@rolandkeith5322 I'm going to be patient and wait for my original selection to come in. If I'm still waiting by June then I'll reconsider depending what the dealer has in stock so I don't lose my deposit.
I did consider that bike too! It looks super fun and has gotten positive reviews. Like the kawasaki h2, it would be a challenge of me riding responsibly and not going beyond my limits.
Thanks! I'm trying to learn more about the different frequencies and filters to minimize the wind and background noise. Investing into higher quality equipment to help that out as well.
it's funny because this is a wakeup call to people who think their American bikes are 100% American. You don't need to wait for parts to show up on a boat when they're American made. This really is a negative to globalization. Have you tried to order the same bike but from another dealer? Lots of dealers will ship anywhere in the US. Good luck man!
I did talk to other dealers, mine gave be the best pricing by a significant margin. I haven't seen the bike/color/build I wanted from other dealers but didn't look across other states. Don't want to lose my deposit though since I've already waited this long. I'd argue very few products are 100% American. Everything comes from somewhere and while labor and manufacturing might be in America, the supplies come from elsewhere. I don't particularly purchase something solely because its marketed as being 100% American. If it helps other people and supports local business I'm all for it.
Don't cancel. Your bike will come into the dealer you ordered from if you cancel or not. If you do cancel its the next person on the list's lucky day. If you cancel you step out of the deli line and have to start all over.

Wow nice!! The Pan Am looks really good. It's on my list of bikes to test ride.
As the saying goes, three is the magic number...
Where am I going to find 3 garages for all these bikes?
@@Valorcycle I've got a spot in my garage open just in case!

Well at least you get a monthly update and info on why its late! Thats something to look forward to. What bike are you getting?

Production delays due to the pandemic have been pretty brutal. It feels like its hard to get pretty much anything right now

Good video! Can't wait to see what you're getting
Thanks! Same here 🤣🤣

Take a look/ride on the Kawasaki Z900RS. They got it right in the design and the engine is a hoot. New ones are available.
It's a great bike! My buddy has one and I've ridden his. That was on the consideration list as well.
top bike them

Nice video.👍 Hmmmm, wonder what bike you are trying to get. Can't wait to see what it is going to be.
Thanks! Yeah I was hoping to have shared the news already but I guess we will have to wait together. It'll be worth it!
How about a Triumph Rocket 3?

Hey give a ZX 14R a go buddy faster than the H2's and with more comfort ....cool vid
I hadn't seen those before, I'll check it out if there are any in my area!

Did Indian say it's labor, parts, any specific items?
I wont say who it was, but they claimed it was supply chain issues not labor. Didnt mention any specific parts.
