Very interesting review! I enjoy your thoughts so much! I will try to track down this Ardnamurchan Cask 1060 TGSC! I think I'd like it a lot! I am normally a peat head but this scotch expression intrigues me!! Creamy porridge and strawberries and hay sound spectacular!! Amazing palette!! It's probably much more pricey in Canada but I want to try this beauty!! Cheers!! 🙂
I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on this one Stuart. I can say that of the several Ardnas I have had, there have been none that I disliked, but a few that were maybe less than I expected? I seem to really prefer their more savory releases which often have at least some peated element. I have wondered if a couple of their non-peated may tend to be just a bit too sweet for me (like the recent Sauternes release?). Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one buddy 👍
Aye, for some reason I've struggled with Ardnamurchan. I know a lot of people enjoy them, but that's what makes whisky so unique I suppose. Cheers Drew!
I'll most certainly never get to taste this particular bottling, but it was nonetheless interesting to hear your thoughts, Stuart. Especially with your "history" with Ardnamurchan in mind. I've been impressed by some of their (very) young AD releases, but less by the 2022 CS and 2022 Madeira cask releases than "consensus in some communities" would otherwise suggest. So, I'm just excited about the future, what the distillery will bring us when their stock matures. Because... they're just doing things right, for sure we can't deny that. Cheers buddy! Looking forward to the next one... 🥃
@@bennyfriis601 it's always great to try these hyped up distilleries, but people need to understand that there is a lot of variation in the way they do things. For me, variety is the spice of life. It would be boring if they were all the same. However, with variety also comes the possibility of missing the mark, and Ardnamurchan sometimes miss the mark. Cheers 👍

I would hope it would make its way over to you. If not, I can try and get a sample to you?
