I bet there’s a big juicy PhD in considering developments in home technology alongside the notion of ghosts as recordings. Imagine sitting around all day watching The Stone Tape and looking at the 1972 Kay’s catalogue, but you’re also getting a PhD for it.
I remember Derek Acorah being 'possessed' and saying "My name is James, I was born in 1762 and it is the year of our Lord, 1797." Then, someone asked "How old are you, James?", and he replied "er... er... Nevermind that, I have an important message!" Clearly, the message was too important for mental arithmetic. 😂
I just want to say, love your stuff. What I'm especially loving now is your avatar picture, which I instantly recognised as being from a 1970s Judy annual that I found in a charity shop in 1994. I found that picture of Edmonds so hilarious that I cut it out and had it printed onto a t-shirt. That's what this paragon of style was doing in the 90s 😁
@@harrygreenfeld4964 Didn't they actually use that as a selling point, so that using the pots to grow cress in, it looked like the monsters had hair? Or was that another product?
Absolutely sterling work Mr Millard. The time it takes for the past to feel utterly surreal is narrowing at an alarming rate - a cultural singularity cannot be far off now.
Borley Rectory is local to me. Me and a group of friends went there one Halloween night in the 90s. I was gutted to then discover that the place burnt down decades prior, so it was just a tiny village with a little church and graveyard. Still looked kinda creepy that night as it was a little foggy to add to the atmosphere but it was a bit of a letdown. I saw much better stuff in Finchingfield one night 6 months prior. But LSD does that.
I hope in 25 years time Stu will be covering the current ‘manifesting’ that people on social media talk about. If you think about something for long enough it’ll happen. Yeah, right. If it worked I’d be married to Margot Robbie. I’m not.
I'm starting to think you're deliberately dropping in Usborne Book of Ghosts references into your Halloween specials to reignite my own personal childhood trauma......
I never thought I'd see the day when someone could better Victoria lucas 38 channels takedown of shit TV from that era, you sir, are a genius and I tip my cane, and give an approving nod
Usborne really ought to re-release their 'Guide to the supernatural world' compilation book. It was bloody fantastic and the prices people are charging for it nowadays are just silly (ok, it wasn't that fantastic, but it'd be nice to have a copy again).
Freddie's exorcism broke me. Given that and Beat the Crusher, the guy was basically a performance artist through a Butlins prism.
I wonder did he exorcist a hamster?
"You Bastid!!" Too funny!!
Nice one Freddy. 😂
The GG Allin of Butlins Bognor Regis.
Millard you are living the dream. Watching old telly just to take the piss out of our nostalgia.
Been living in this channel for a few weeks now. Great work.
You'll have to start paying rent soon!
Seriously. This is the best channel on TH-cam! Cheers Mr Millard.

Genuinely funniest channel on this platform..your talents are wasted on here or maybe I am 😂
The Vic Reeves gag killed me!
A top 10 channel for me. Nice work again millard
The Raymond Brrrr joke made me Laugh Out Loud :)
Larry "the ghostbuster" Grayson is something I didn't know i needed to see more of 🤣
Stuart......you've done it again!

😆 poor old Derek, he was entertaining even though it was pure bunkum.
But...."Mary did love Dick"
im new to your channel and im loving them. after this i will be off to watch the other ones 🙂 thankyou keep them coming

I miss Fiendish Feet. Used to have all the pots till dad burned them on the bonfire one year.
An unspeakable tragedy.
We used to use them once empty to grow cress in. The 80's.
@@harrygreenfeld4964 Didn't they actually use that as a selling point, so that using the pots to grow cress in, it looked like the monsters had hair? Or was that another product?
Memory unlocked in the first 10secs with those yogurts 😮 I remember getting excited when they released a new toffee flavour 🤦
I came here to say this!
Exactly the same here. I remember them but I couldn't remember what they were called
Somehow, in 2024, I'm loving the Larry Grayson clips.
💯
Millard, my old mate, where ya been? I tell you where: creating another bloody excellent video. Keep it up big fella ❤
This is my new favourite channel 😎
The 'boink!' noise on the nose made me laugh more than it had any right to.
Looks like this would have done Freddie's ongoing mental health issues the world of good
I think that poor ghost has been possessed by the evil Freddie Starr
Return of Mr M’s spooky spunky funsters - thank you once again sir
Now this is a Sunday treat
This reminded me of the rather excellent BBC2 play The Stone Tape. That would make a great hauntology episode.
Im going to say this again...such a good channel. Just need more content. Great stuff
Fiendish Feet!! I used to love them. I'd eat them then wash the pots and keep them for my pens and pencils
Absolutely sterling work Mr Millard. The time it takes for the past to feel utterly surreal is narrowing at an alarming rate - a cultural singularity cannot be far off now.
Thanks Stu. Another time capsule of UK TV bilge to wade through.
Now I live in fear of being possessed by Freddie Starr.
A healthy fear. He's more powerful in death than he ever was in life.
I think you're right, Freddie wasn't just acting wacky on stage, he was just possessed! 😆😆
The Knightmare scene made me lol, as the kids would say.
18:14 .. Lol! Coffee just came out my nose!!
More of these please hilarious
The Vic Reeves gag...oh my i am howling so hard my head fell off 😂😂
The Bath Theatre Royal thing with the butterflies is worth watching for its self-contradiction, it's on BBC Archive channel on youtube
"Freddie Starr, sort of like the original Bill Hicks." - Nathan Barley.
Finally I can celebrate Halloween.
Kids - come get your treats, Millard’s put his video up. Yes sir it’s Halloween (Aleister Crowley)….

I just fancy a banana Fiendish Feet now.
Awesome as always buddy!
i remember watching The Ghost Hunters as a four year old, it scared the life out of me!
The Brucey rap got me. Bravo, Stu.
Irrefutable proof of ghosts in that Toyah Willcox photo - look at how cold they've made the room!
You're up there mate. This is like a streamlined 2024 version of In Bed With Medinner. Might even be better
Just in time for 3 weeks after Halloween 🎃
Rector...not 'arf, they had to move me to another parish just to hush it up.
“PYSKICK! HE’S WRITTEN PYSKICK!…….TIT!”
Freddie possessed my hamster....you bastard
That guy's hair,,, pulling that woman from a burning car
I hope Freddie Starr is in a better place... Because his house looked tiny!
This upload's thumbnail is by far the most disturbing one I've seen on this channel. I've not even actually properly watched the video yet...
I hope in 25 years time Stu will be covering the current ‘manifesting’ that people on social media talk about. If you think about something for long enough it’ll happen. Yeah, right. If it worked I’d be married to Margot Robbie. I’m not.
How did Tom Paris not only get back to earth but also become a ghost? Temporal warp drive fuck up I'm guessing
EXCELLENT video.
Freddie turns into Derek Acorah .with "Mary and Dick"
A nun with toothache 😂😂😂😂
If people were allowed to put their Xmas trees up in October, we're allowed to carry our Halloween coverage over one more month.
Rupert Sheldrake will be proud.
Spirits Walking and Ghosts talking did indeed get sampled - by Cabaret Voltaire th-cam.com/video/59HWNt-4opw/w-d-xo.html

Never heard pistol pronounced “piss tool” before
Osborne/Usborne Books? Why do they sound so familar??
Another great video by the way.
Did the Osbourne ghost book have the Jeff the mongoose story?
Bernard’s definitely seen Bunty (inset Larry Grayson GIF here)

Takeover Bid ghostly rap finished me off
Ghostbusted 😂 I ain’t of no fraid
top channel,,,how come you only sound about twenny?
Ah, it seems I missed the lectures on indigenous powers of telepathy when I studied anthropology. I will demand a refund.
Negative ion pistol... Bwahahaha... The Large Hadron Collider people would kill for one of those. 😄 The sheer fantasy worlds these people live in.
10:22 Best. name. EVER.
I reckon he reversed his name. Bet it was Herbert Benson really.
Millard
Well 'ard
Can’t blame Burr for believing this stuff. The fella pray witness to the first sighting of Godzilla.
Fiendish feet ftw

You know they re released there "book of ghosts" in 2020 right.???
@@thecloak5203 I did, but that wasn't the whole guide.. it's like Usborne wanted to tease us.
Bit slow with the Halloween this year mate. The Pumpkin Jack doing some moonlighting. Speaking of which, this horrible bit 5:22. Nightmare!
The Patreon got it first :)
Patreon gets the videos a month before the TH-cam channel.
@@DenkyManner DPF1 Got there 4 hours before you.
What a skint comedian will do for a pay check these days 😂
19:19 😂😂😂
Freddie is still more believable than Derek Acorah ever was
So funny
I’m ruined so funny
24:05 It's gone all Midnight Express in here
Funny that ghost decided to possess a comedian who overacts a lot.
Poor Freddie looks mentally unbalanced.
Imagine the utter chaos people like these must have caused locally, say, 1000 years ago or are causing now on the internet, globally.
