Smyth is simply far too one dimensional with his game. He can't cut in which makes the likes of Celars job even harder. Stick Santos there instead, and start Ashby at right back.
@@davidcooper3317 no frey was getting 10 mins in games then got injured, celar is dog turd and played 8 games without a goal...didnt even have a single shot on or off target tonight in 96 mins....awful striker worse than washington and bonne....cant believe we sold armstrong and signed celar as his replacement, watch him get loaned out within 1 year
This is the last time I will defend Celar but he was playing against the starting English International defender and as usual with QPR battling them all alone up top. However there was no way Marti should have played him all game ,Frey should have been brought on once Eze beat our whole team twice on the deflected goal. Might be time to start Alfie he showed some excellent skill last 2 games 😀
Hard to judge after 160 minutes of Championship football, with almost half of those minutes coming on his debut v a West Brom team, which have conceded just two goals in five games. Celar has shown some quality in his play when back goal, has been disappointing in the air, and rushed any half chances he has had, but he hasn't had many. I'm going to support Celar and not scapegoat him. Just because Dykes has gone, I don't need another player to shout out just yet.
Crystal Palace are a bang average premier league side. Just one of many sides in there just merely making up the numbers. We should have fielded a stronger team from the off. We could have, and should have, done better.
