Not the funniest moments, of this series, but the Penny- Leonard relationship moments were the most uplifting moments. It begins with Penny and Leonard meeting in the first episode, and he makes the prediction that their babies will be both smart and beautiful. That idea seems so unrealistic that Sheldon comments, "Not to mention imaginary." But the episode involving Tangerine Chicken brings an opportunity for Leonard to answer Penny's sorrowful request for a nice guy, by saying "What about me?" Penny then goes against her prior nature and says yes to going out with Leonard. Leonard feelings for Penny are far ahead of Penny;s feeling for Leonard at every step of their relationship, but eventually, Penny catches up in a moment of clarity/truth and full realization of her feelings. Leonard tells Penny he loves her first. She does not reciprocate. But at a surprising moment of truth, Penny blurts out that she loves Leonard. Leonard proposes first, and Penny rejects him. But at a moment of clarity and truth about of who she really is and what she really wants, Penny accepts Leonard;s proposal. They marry and in the finale, Sheldon finds out Leonard and Penny are expecting. That is when Sheldon reminds us and announces that Leonard once said their babies will "be both smart and beautiful", and then agrees that he is "certain they will be."
This would make a really good daytime drama. Without Sheldon pouring the soap. Just Penny and Leonard raising a child in an engineering/farm environment.

The people who think they werent an amazing couple in this series may actually be crazy. They had their ups and downs, highs and lows, they fought but they worked to make the relationship the best it could be and came out with something beautiful.
Her own insecurities, and the type of guys she attracted and decided to 'date'. Even when she finally gave Leonard a chance she was still insecure about her intelligence and fitting in. But she eventually realized that she had worthwhile qualities that the rest of the group didn't, and she had real value, different, but valuable just the same.
Because penny was one of those pretty females that only dated pretty boys. She slept around and loved doing that. Leonard was the opposite. It's usually real life and it showed up during the seasons. Eventually, penny was a hoe and Amy even called it during that date with Sheldon. Females like penny only realize it when it's time to settle. She even said it during the episodes.
I pretty much missed this show when it was on, only seeing one or two episodes ever. I finally sat down and watched all 13 seasons on HBOmax. Man, what an awesome and amazing show. One of, if not the best compilations of the show. Great job. Penny bringing out her memory box is one of the all time best love stories. I would have loved to have met a girl like that. Oh well, for some it wasn't meant to be.
I think the first kiss that they shared on that Halloween should still be considered their official first kiss. That night is when Penny was truly beginning to realize how much Leonard cared.
I felt like the moment where they talked in the Seperation Oscillation was one of their best moments in a weird way. Penny looked as though she had quite a bit of love and understanding in her eyes for him and they both were open in expressing their insecurities. You could see why Leonard was choosing to be with Penny over a smarter sciency woman, because he found her presence different and refreshing and probably someone like that would remind him of his mum, and he doesn't want that. In Penny he has found home in spontaneity and in Leonard, Penny found security. His lines to her were super sweet too.

Have never been able to understand why Sheldon got all the awards on this show. To me, each one of the characters contributed something to the whole program and deserved more recognition than they got.
Sure, and they did great, but they portrayed humans. Parsons had to portray a borderline offensively written savant with next to no room to put his own mannerisms and responses into it, and made the character iconic and very well received. AND throughout the course of the show he portrayed that character growing as a human, when his whole schtick is acting cold and robotic. It's not all that surprising that that got acknowledged the most He won awards for the same reason everybody is pissed Steve Carrell largely didn't for the office. No matter how good they are you could recast any role on either show successfully and there will be a pool to work with, but those two roles (and Dwight tbf) are way more nuanced than the others couldn't be close to replicated by anybody else, even with the same script and support, and they defined the shows. The other actors played their characters extremely well, but they justified their characters existence to the audience. Penny is believable, Sheldon isn't, he doesn't make sense on paper. Unbelievable, unrelatable, wacky characters don't do well on sitcoms, that's hard to pull off. That's a big step up come award season

Not the funniest moments, of this series, but the Penny- Leonard relationship moments were the most uplifting moments. It begins with Penny and Leonard meeting in the first episode, and he makes the prediction that their babies will be both smart and beautiful. That idea seems so unrealistic that Sheldon comments, "Not to mention imaginary."
But the episode involving Tangerine Chicken brings an opportunity for Leonard to answer Penny's sorrowful request for a nice guy, by saying "What about me?" Penny then goes against her prior nature and says yes to going out with Leonard.
Three words
! ! ! !.
This would make a really good daytime drama. Without Sheldon pouring the soap. Just Penny and Leonard raising a child in an engineering/farm environment.

Penny is basically the dream of every nerd.

Leonard is a simp
I don't understand what took Penny so long to appreciate this soft, loving, kind and brilliant man.
Because she was into Chads before she would appreciate the real valuable guys that don't look like the Chads.
He wasn’t as exciting as a bad boy and he didn’t know how to flirt.
Penny slept around and Leonard didn't get anything. Pretty over unattractive.
I pretty much missed this show when it was on, only seeing one or two episodes ever.
I finally sat down and watched all 13 seasons on HBOmax.
Man, what an awesome and amazing show. This set brought out the emotional feelings for all the characters. Always rooting for them in so many ways.

Penny singing You Got a Friend in Me to Leonard is the most beautiful vow I will ever hear 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I think the first kiss that they shared on that Halloween should still be considered their official first kiss. That night is when Penny was truly beginning to realize how much Leonard cared.
the most intelligent, silly, loving show ever....still my absolute favorite
I felt like the moment where they talked in the Seperation Oscillation was one of their best moments in a weird way. Penny looked as though she had quite a bit of love and understanding in her eyes for him and they both were open in expressing their insecurities. You could see why Leonard was choosing to be with Penny over a smarter sciency woman, because he found her presence different and refreshing and probably someone like that would remind him of his mum, and he doesn't want that. In Penny he has found home in spontaneity and in Leonard, Penny found security. His lines to her were super sweet too.

ABSOLUTELY!!! And hopefully they don't wait too long like "FRIENDS" did.
The fact he didn't take advantage of a drunk penny shows why he my favorite! He respects her to much!
It's not all that surprising that that got acknowledged the most
He won awards for the same reason everybody is pissed Steve Carrell largely didn't for the office.
