My DSTV channels are all showing with a blank screen and only subtitles. Only 3 channels are showing video and sound. I have scanned for almost a week and all the channels are complete but it's just a blank screen with subtitles. What could be the problem please

There is a distortion somewhere. So I suggest you do factory reset of your DStv decoder and run an Auto scan after that so that every channel will be ok.
If eventually it didn't bounce back well, then work on boosting your dish signals for all the channels to start showing fine. Thanks.

Others places you will check are your satellite dish to see if the signal has dropped. Check if there is a place where the coaxial cable is joined for a possible rust, correct it and rejoin.
