I think you mean devolving, they are sticking with the more generic sound that their latest album brought, instead of their first two albums which actually sounded original.
I strongly disagree only on the premise that you cannot devolve into a sound you’ve never had. I mean, nowadays their debut album sounds like nothing nowadays, but do try and remember how “original” the electro swing sound was in 2010; I think if you look at the trajectory - from their debut all the way to Comics, it’s obvious to me at least that each album has been challenging a different kinda focus to their sound. The first was heavy on the swing, the second was heavy on the electro, the third introduced a lot of slow tempos and an undeniable hip hop influence, and now... we’ll it doesn’t sound like anything they’ve done before, so I’m just excited

Just thought that I’d share that listening to this song really reignited my passion for being creative. I recently left a job that made me miserable and I moved back in with my parents-it’s been a lot to take in. But listening to this suddenly sparked my long-dormant passion for creativity! I’ve spent the last few days re-reading all of my old writing and looking at my old art with nothing but this song on repeat. I really want to get back into it now! I’ve even started plans for a rewrite of an old book I never finished writing. If all goes well, it’ll be finished and sent out to publishers by this fall! So... Aw man, where do I begin. I remember at the beginning of 2019, I was scrolling through my recommend section while listening to Caravan Palace and I saw this and nearly flipped... I was sooooo excited that they were back again with more music! I listened to Miracle over and over again, ecstatic that they had tried a different genre that worked out really well! Throughout the year, each boring, dull week was punctuated by a new song from Caravan Palace to listen to, eventually leading to their newest album, Chronologic. (Which I got! Sooooo happy I did!) Hearing all that music has just phenomenal. To top all of that off, I went to go see Caravan Palace in concert... Aw man... It was fantastic! Such energy, such pizazz... In all the 3 or so years I had listened to them, I never thought I'd see them in concert... But there I was. So, many of y'all might comment about the video. Maybe about how you're excited about them coming back with more music. But this song, to me, was the song that started the year of Caravan Palace... Just thought that I’d share that listening to this song really reignited my passion for being creative. I recently left a job that made me miserable and I moved back in with my parents-it’s been a lot to take in. But listening to this suddenly sparked my long-dormant passion for creativity! I’ve spent the last few days re-reading all of my old writing and looking at my old art with nothing but this song on repeat. I really want to get back into it now! I’ve even started plans for a rewrite of an old book I never finished writing. If all goes well, it’ll be finished and sent out to publishers by this fall!

So... Aw man, where do I begin. I remember at the beginning of 2019, I was scrolling through my recommend section while listening to Caravan Palace and I saw this and nearly flipped... I was sooooo excited that they were back again with more music! I listened to Miracle over and over again, ecstatic that they had tried a different genre that worked out really well! Throughout the year, each boring, dull week was punctuated by a new song from Caravan Palace to listen to, eventually leading to their newest album, Chronologic. (Which I got! Sooooo happy I did!) Hearing all that music has just phenomenal. To top all of that off, I went to go see Caravan Palace in concert... Aw man... It was fantastic! Such energy, such pizazz... In all the 3 or so years I had listened to them, I never thought I'd see them in concert... But there I was. So, many of y'all might comment about the video. Maybe about how you're excited about them coming back with more music. But this song, to me, was the song that started the year of Caravan Palace... I can tell this song will, and will always be, awesome. Thank you for an amazing year, Caravan Palace!
