Hope they don't have that stupid bug where a player asks for a new deal, you give it and they reject it and want to leave. Also having one homesick player a year is just so unrealistic
Yh them homesick players are funny though, they usually end up in a different they came from lol 😭😭

This video is in no way determinative of what will happen in career mode at all. I am confused why you would have 8 CB's in the squad when testing growth... surely at least half of them wouldn't be getting any games, where as if they were at the club they actually start at they would be getting 30 plus games a season. The same goes for every player in that squad bar the starting XI.
Why didn't you just shortlist all these players and look at who grew the most by the end of the 3rd season? Waste of your opportunity to get early footage tbh.

Great video Mgh, i was wondering if they have fixed the potential bug? You know in fifa 17 u could buy a player with potential to be something special, and then they could drop to great potential after they changed club.

Martial is a lot more talented then lemar. If you train both of them in Fifa 18 for one season, Martial will go to 84-86 rating. I played one season with training and first team game time with martial, and he went to 86.

after playing the demo for quite some time, my 2 favourite players so far are Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva.. Bernardo as you just said, is fucking amazing, although he isn't as quick as most wingers, he's unbelievable

Friend of the Devil i remember after fifa 17 released last year Phillape Coutinho's face was updated. So there's hope. But it burns my ass after seeing casemiro's genric face, i mean EA has got so much time to scan the face of some 68-70 overall worthless player from England but won't update a player's face who's been starter of the champions league winner. Fuck logic.

The up- & downgrade system in Career Mode is just stupid. Older players always get worse & young players always get better, no matter how they perform..

The defending in FIFA 18 may be more manual, which is good, but it's also been drastically nerfed/gimped/downgraded in the action to reaction area. As a defender, I can predict the opponent player's next move 1-2 seconds in advance, but defenders in FIFA 18 simply don't react fast enough to be able to do anything about it. EA seem to have added a substantial amount of input lag to defenders, and I for one, don't think that makes the game more challenging or realistic - all it does is favor attacking play over defensive prowess.
