We're headed to Mozambique with UN Women,
to catch up with an African changemaker working to end gender-based & sexual violence.
Her name is Josina Machel. In 2015, she lost her eye after her partner attacked her. Her experience seeking justice, led her to create the impactful Kuhluka movement. An organization fighting for survivor's justice & dignity in southern Africa. Josina wants to start a shelter for survivors in Mozambique, so we took her to one of the most impactful shelters for survivors in Kenya, the Kenya Women & Children's Wellness Center. #16daysofactivism #EndGBV #EndSexualViolence #noexcuses
