Good drama! I didn't see much 'she left and he regretted it', but couple got together fairly early and stayed together. I liked how FL didn't jump to conclusions and trusted ML when male love rival tried to get her to doubt him by showing him hugging another girl (turned out to be his cousin). What I really liked is the parents' story - especially how FL's mom was one of the drugged one night stands, which resulted in FL. Kinda wild how FL's mom complained about getting pregnant and FL's dad being AWOL. Well, you're the one that slapped him and ran out of the room!!! 🤨 Liked how her parents actually got together in the end. Also, liked how Grandma's matchmaking went nowhere, and FL was able to brag about her 'background'. I give this five heart rating - 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Although it feels like a couple of tropes being stitched together to make a whole story, it also feels new at the same time. I don't think I've seen this storyline before. It's pretty good...something to recommend, highly! I really love fl's character here. She seems timid at first, always following ml around, but she's actually very strong and independent. She knows how to stand her ground despite her background, never dependent to any men and never belittling herself. She's smart too, never fell for anyone's tricks. Ml is the same, he has principles and is morally upright. I love their relationship, their trust for each other is strong that there's no room for any misunderstandings. Actually the characteristics of ml and fl both overshadow their parents' or rather they are the polar opposite of their parents. Like ml is the antithesis of his father and fl's strength contrasted to that of her mother's weakness. So, this drama not only has good characterization, but also script is good, the direction and acting are all exemplary. This also has a high rewatch value in my opinion. 👏👏
I agree with you... Usually I don't like to re-watch any drama even if it is my favourite. Rather I prefer to watch other versions of the same storyline. But this drama has a high re-watch value. Because I don't think they can do other versions of this drama as good as this one.

🥰 Peng Yao is cute and Duan Meiyang is handsome. Even though they didn’t have any passionate kisses, their chemistry was still good. The story was a bit slow but did pick up after an hour. Her mom finally got a backbone against her “boyfriend”/ML’s dad around that time too, so that helped me liked her, especially when she started treating her FL daughter better. Her mom and biological dad looked great together. The cast looked good and acted well 🤩.

I have never been more curious...i was waiting for her father's reveal...it didn't disappoint 🔥🔥🔥..great drama..the leads although off to a bad start(like the first 5 min) they trust each other and are honest with each other..the mother was misunderstood and is actually such a good mother apart from the constant beating of her daughter (like use your words woman!) The FL is not a wimp and stands up for herself (THE BEST PART) fl's dad is a hottie and is wealthy..it was just perfect!!

ML had a character development, but he is not good enough for FL, 10 years of insulting her and her mom without any apology, no way, but I’m glad FL was able to save her love-brain mom, she was so deluded to the point that she bullied her own daughter, cant blame FL for saving her mom, id do the same, and I’m glad her biological father is a good man. FL is the only mature character here, well plus her dad, when ML knew the truth he couldnt handle it, what a spoiled brat, while FL endured 19years of suffering and set aside everything and focusing in the present, she deserved a better man

Worth watching. Her mom is a (understandably) pathetic for the 1st half, because she had a b@stard, and she's a love-brain, but once she wakes up, she wakes all the way up. ML's family is the absolute worst, poor guy has no idea how terrible they really are.
I adore this FL actress. One thing I've noticed is that in all her dramas she always has the same hairstyle lol reminds me of Jadie Jia who always had her hair in a bun with her bangs in all her drama... only a rare few a half updo
