      Get an infra red night vision camera. Then you can light him up and he won't see a thing!
      Then you'll be able to get his face and confirm or rule out your probable suspect.

      If you dig up that driveway and bury those tires side by side and then fill it up with gravel, you will never have that driveway wash out again. That's how they do roads to construction sites now. That they have to drive big dump trucks over.
      Just picture laying all those tires flat so the circles are facing up and then you fill it in with gravel and then cover it over with dirt you have the best drainage, with dirt that will never wash out again

      In Michigan there are only 3 full-time DNR officers working. They work out of their homes and trucks. They hire part time interns for peak season hunting and fishing for a week or 2 but their budget is limited on enforcement. They rely on private citizens to gather evidence and expect them to testify in court. It's like the administration is sucking all the revenue created with their outrageous salaries.

    One thing you may want to do is install super-bright motion lights and An Extremely Loud siren tied to a motion detector. Mount everything up high especially the siren because the higher it is the louder it is. Not only will it drive away all the game. Super thin fishing line on short stakes stretched out. Screen door springs on both ends. So there is lots of give... a tail on each end to a wooden cloths pin that had been taken apart for brass machine screws thru the punch faces to attach wires to. A piece of plastic between the screw heads. If the line gets tripped something goes off... could be a Halloween witch toy screaming . Could be a solenoid on an air tank with a cut open balloon. Making a whoopee cushion sound. Could be the win lights In the tower..
    Could just reposition the tires daily.
    In the early 60s hunters used our 77 acres as their access to national forrest. Dad painted signs Mt Pinos hunt club. Membership $500.00. Had a lot of turn arounds..

    On your tire situation, the owner of the construction company that I work for bought a defunct 17 acre junkyard for our new equipment yard there was thousands of tires left behind. He was able to get a government grant to help dispose of the tires which greatly offset the price that it would have cost him out of pocket. Maybe you can look into that. By the way awesome job on the clean up and getting the track and property back in shape…

    • @Greenlightfilming
      @Greenlightfilming  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can totally see there being help when it's of such massive scale like that. There's super fund sites that the government puts money into like that.
      In my case it was too small to even consider applying for it. It's really a shame there's no help for this sort of thing out there for the little guy.

    Out here there's plenty of private property that's open to hiking and hunting by the general public. If you haven't already, prominently post No Hunting and No Trespassing signs as needed. Once that's clearly established, Elmer won't have an excuse to say he didn't know it wasn't allowed.

    • @Greenlightfilming
      @Greenlightfilming  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's been marked/posted since buying the property. There's one no hunting sign, two no trespassing signs, one cameras in use sign, and another clearly stating nobody allowed haha. I guess if he missed all of those the gate he jumps over is no issue.

      Florida man is right. In the United States, trespassing is a real crime and will be prosecuted sometimes without the property owners request.

    That PVC pipe is not rated or designed to be a culvert. It cannot handle the weight of Vehicles driving over it especially when it's only a few inches under the ground. I would not be surprised that PVC pipe either is cracked or broken and is allowing debris to fall into it and clogged it. The reason I think this is because there's dirt and gravel coming out of it when you're unplugging it but there's nice grass on the uphill side. The mud and and gravel is coming from somewhere. Everytime somebody drives a car over that it's pushing down on the pipe which it's not designed for that. I would replace it with a 6 inch black plastic culvert

    • @Greenlightfilming
      @Greenlightfilming  2 ปีที่แล้ว
