- Did you catch the last feeding in this bin, recorded on the 21st? I've put the link below in case you'd like to watch that first. I've also linked it in the video about 2 minutes in (assuming I did it right). In that feeding I said I thought all the food left from the 13th would be gone, as well as 75% of the food from the 21st, the food added in that video. I also asked YOU how much food may or may not be left.

And here we are, the moment of truth! I checked in on and fed this bin first just so we could see how things went. Today is 3 September, 2024.
This bin is composed of Indian blue worms, Red Wigglers, and European nightcrawlers.

That bin is toooo moist!
Yup, a little extra in there! I don't mind it being more on the moist side but standing water, nope not okay. It'll be good though having added that dry paper. Next go round I'll give it all a good stir and add more dry if it's still too wet. Thanks for watching and commenting. 🙋♀️
How u dry the castings or remove it because i do have this type same i dont know how to remove the casting
I don't harvest very refined castings (which I think are beautiful) but when they're extra mucky I make sure to stir/mix them up good and don't cover the side that needs to dry up.
When I harvest I do one half or a third at a time. I get an empty bucket and remove the half that is ready to go. I make sure to have new bedding ready to add after harvesting. Another way to do it would be to harvest the dryer stuff that's ready and bring the wet stuff up to the top so it has a chance to dry out. Also I wouldn't add really really wet foods. Lastly, maybe add more dry material, like dry layers of paper (not shiny) to the very bottom. I hope I was clear.
