Assalamualaikum sir
I'm 19years old girl from India.
I'm here to learn Arabic language and your videos helps me a lot .sir ❤️ ur way of explaination is so great, I really appreciate ur work and efforts which u are made for us ✨ u are one of the best teacher in the world 🌏 may Allah bless you forever ❤️nd lots of love nd respect for you from India ❣️❣️❣️❣️
For those trying to learn Arabic through this course don't give up its not hard I'm trying to learn Arabic from an Egyptian brother who don't speak English I'm learning Arabic in Arabic and it tough and the more time you put into it the easier it will get the moment you come across rule you don't understand rewind the video as many as needed until you get it you may even have to rewind it a few time then take a break and come back the next day and it will sink in when your not expecting but don't move on until you get it because going forward will only pile on the confusing as new rules and new vocabulary come also repetition it the key you may even have to write each word 10 or 20 times before the stick and with each vocabulary word try to make 3 to 5 sentence with each word the the more you see it and use it it will stick easier most of use have not trained your brain to memorize that's the issue more than anything just don't give up keep trying if you start now and go hard next Ramadan you be able to understand a good amount of Quran inshaa Allah finally read the Quran a lot but read it slow trying to understand what you read and you Listen a lot also to train the ears
AllahuAkbar699 jazakallah kheir
JazaakumuLlaahu khayran brother. This is a sound advice
Lesson 3 from Pg 17 to the end (from the beginning to 47:16)
Introduction to pronouns (47:16 to 1:11:08)
Lesson 4 till Pg 23 Ex 2 (1:11:08 to the end)
*Note:* Links to the Madina Arabic book, key, solutions and handouts are in the description.
My comment in no way is a means to skip parts of the video. It's just for
people who come *back* to Brother Asif's videos for a better
understanding of certain concepts. I hope my comment will help them save time and watch parts that they want a revision in.
I always wanted to do this for revision purpose... but you saved my time... jazakaAllah

Handout link is not working. Can you help please
Ilove Diys abdurrahman.org/arabic-learning/madina-arabic/
Try this. Inn sha Allah. It will work
I have just completed my 2nd lesson. While listening, I feel like I am at that classroom too :) May Allah bless you all who helped to prepare these videos. I am going to complete all the lessons inşAllah.
***** Have you completed the lessons?
More than half of them so far! I needed to take a break twice because of my lessons and 53th video out of 96 was the last video I studied along with. These days I have been reviewing my book II and soon will continue where I left off. If you are a fresh learner of Arabic, I can definetly recommend you to go with these lessons. The instructor really knows what he does and how to teach and he has a very good sense of humor which makes me smile through the videos all the times. I do not think that anyone other than brother Asif could teach me Arabic better. Just print your books and start with the first video. I'm sure that the rest will come by itself! ;)
***** jazakallah khair, I just finished the second video now myslef, but yes a long way from you are... have you tried to keep a regular schedule any tips, so as to not get stuck?
reealitey Firstly, do not study with pdfs, get the hard copies of the books. It will make easier for you to take notes on it. Also get a new notebook to write what instructor writes on the board and what he points out. This is very important because you'll take lots of notes! The instructor points out a lot of things orally and most of the time he doesn't write them on the board. I strongly recommend you to write them on your notebook! This will make your review sessions faster and more effective.
Other tip is when you finish one chapter completely, before starting the new one, review the newly finished chapter one more time on book without watching the lesson. This helps you digest what you learned and this is what I always do.
I also keep record of each new word on a local website. I built a special website for that since I am a web developer but I suggest you to keep them in an excel file in the following order.
Type|Meaning|Word|Plural/Imperfective
Type: adj, adv, verb, noun
If the word is a noun, write its plural form as well in the last column. If you know what gender the word has, mark the word. For example you can put "m." or "f." in front of the word or change the grid color to the pink if the noun is feminine.
If the word is a verb, write its imperfective form (mudaria form) of the verb in the last column. But you will meet the Arabic verbs in book II.
I almost forgot that you'll need an Arabic keyboard. I bought an Arabic keyboard sticker and stuck the arabic letters on the keyboard of my laptop. You'll also need to activate the arabic keyboard for your PC. Since you'll interact with Arabic more from now onward, don't think that this is too much work to do!
Yes, I kept a regular schedule but what is important is you should set a goal. For example, say I will go through two or three videos in a week and find out the most suitable times for you and study regularly. For example Friday nights are perfect times for me since the week is over and I have less things to do.
Sometimes you will want to give up because of some challenging topics like verbs, plural forms but DO NOT GIVE UP! With a regular study, Allah will make everything easy for you. Don't you ever forget, the key is regular study!
The instructor lays stress on grammatical analysis of each sentence in the book too much. If you don't get the grammatical analysis part quickly, don't worry. Everthing will be so clear in time. "In my opinion", if you catch the meaning of the sentence and how it is built without understanding its grammatical analysis, you are on the safe side. Do not spend too much time with analysis part since dealing with it too much makes the lesson less enjoyable and this is what we do not want for our study. Study in a way you enjoy!
As I said before, the key is regular study. With regular study, everything will be easy for you inshaAllah. Lastly, there is a web-site called Memrise. Using this website or its mobile app, you can acquire lots of Arabic vocabulary in a short time and I strongly recommend this website. After signing up, hit this link memrise.com/courses/english/arabic/ there are lots of Arabic courses there and you can study whatever you want for free. My suggestion is the course named "1-5000 Arabic Frequency & Audio". If you want to focus on Quranic Arabic, there are courses for Quranic words too!
If you feel you get stuck with your Arabic study, just let me know! I will try to help you as much as I can.
I hope you complete all the courses without giving up! May Allah bless you!
***** Jazakallah khair for all the tips! I really appreciate it. I downloaded the app on my tablet and it's great! I also printed all the books (the English key, arabic book 1, and solutions, and the handout). I put them in binders and loose leaf papers for notes and to do the exercises. I also printes someomes thorough notes that I got from another site. Also, the vocabulary list, which I will try to study in between videos. I will try to use that app also in my spare time when I am tired of studying. I am hoping my regular schedule can be in the early morning after fajr and Friday evenings sounds like a great time to do work also. My one worry is when I get back to school schedule as I am on holidays now.
He teaches whole heartedly..n whatever work is done by heart is always succeeded by Allah ...Dil se jo baat nikalti hain asar rakhti hain, parr nahi par taqatey parwaaz magar rakhti hain..
Thank you Teacher; Your teaching method is marvelous.
He is like standing in front of me, passionately teaching to make me understand. May Allah bless him and all those made this video to be viewed with jannah. aaminn

I've been studying this course with a teacher 2 x 1 hour a week since September 2014 and watching these videos has definitely improved my understanding so would recommend to those on the course and also those who are not inshahAllah
I just started a few days ago brother. I hope we are able to finish the course
SpontaniousGuy
Ustad Asif has videos in advanced Arabic teaching beyond Madinah Book 1, 2, and 3 ?
@@SpontaniousGuy did you finish it brother? It’s been 5 years
@@Lzali10469 i did not expect to get a reply from a comment 5 years ago! Alhamdulillah brother i did manage to go until book 2 a few years ago and I guess i stopped because of school. But everything i learned is super useful especially when I'm trying to memorize Quran and even hadith. I think memorizing quran and hadith is really good because we can apply what we learn first hand. I hope the best on your journey brother. Finish until book 3! I might continue on book 2 now that you reminded me :)
@@SpontaniousGuy how well are you able to speak Arabic?
May Allah reward all of those involved in the making of these videos. Arabic is essential for learning our religion
amazing, wonderful teaching, may Allah bless him with jannathul firdouse ...

Assalamualaikum shaykh I recently have realized that although I have an exam going on I am not being able to study alot, and the main reason I have noticed is that I worry about alot of things, even though I make dua to Allah for these worries, whenever I sit to study, every couple of minutes I get the same thoughts and I end up getting up to face the Qibla, raise my hands and make the same dua over and over again. Is this the whispers of Satan who doesn't want me to study? Should I make dua just once and ignore the thoughts or am I thinking the wrong way round? Jazakum Allahu Khairan.
Assalamualaikum say Allahumma Barik when you like someone or something.Jazakum Allahu Khairan

Excellent way of teaching learning. He is an excellent instructor. Allah give him Jaza e Khairaho
As Salaamualaikum, I am learning form your videos, Alhamdulillah your videos are very informative. I find myself like in your class. I am learning very slowly like each video in one week. But I download all notes and taken printouts. Many times I come across too many doubts but in UK I find no one to explain me. I am preparing for upcoming Ramdan to read and understand Quran. If you give few tips to people like me, it may be very helpful. May Allah give you good reward and make you success in this world and hear after . Ameen

46:00 he is on page 20 and 47:00 he goes to lesson four on page 21.
maybe someone can answer what is muktadar, I know marfuw means subject, but not muktadar at 1:11:09
+reealitey Mubtada' means subject in the nominal sentence (jumlatul ismiyyah). Marfu' means nominative case where a noun ends with a vowel sound either a dommah or a tanwin dommah.
+reealitey I might be a little late to answer though... You probably already figured this out.
Nice representation. Great Job Dr./Ustadh
Hocam şahanesiniz. Allah razı olsun.. Thank you soooo much...

Anas bin Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated, “The Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said,
‘When one of you makes dua, he should be firm in his supplication and should not say, “O Allaah, if You wish then grant me (my request),” for indeed, there is none who can compel Him.’”
