At 11:53 she talks about not getting it right. But what people don't see is that when you pick up a piece of hair you should first check if the curl is twisting clockwise or anticlockwise in your hand as you're holding it. Cause if you place 2 different rotations on eachother before crotcheting it in your hair the twist will never come out right. I learned it after so much trial and error. Just a tip for those of you who want it perfectly done.

It took me years to learn to twist but basically the trick is while twisting the hair your also twisting the two hair sections. So for each hair section before doing one twist rotation, those two sections your twist tightening (like the movement you do when tightening for a Bantu not). See how the Bantu not is naturally forming a curl shape while tightening? It’s the same concept. So Bantu twist the two section then braid twist then repeat. hope this was clear enough and your craft gets better. Amazing job on this one !
