The guy running it was an older gentleman and when we talked he was super patient and explained everything to me. He also gave me some great advice how to handle my dry scalp. I seriously need to go back to Japan.
I checked their menu and holy smokes they costed almost 10k jpy for the whole thing. Context: most standard japanese barbers cost around 2000-3000 jpy with cheaper chain barbers costing 1500-1800 jpy
This is exactly like a Great Clips experience in my opinion. An in depth nuanced consultation followed by expert utilization of the best tools and time-honored dedication to their craft. I honestly can’t tell the difference.

Oh Lord... I live in Medan, North Sumatra. One of the largest cities in Indonesia. However, I couldn't find a BARBER SHOP that had service and treatment like in this video. If a Japanese person opened a barbershop like this in my city, I would be willing to spend my entire salary every month just to get service and treatment like this.
