    The implementation of a new policy should indeed consider the rights and commitments made to those who enrolled under the previous policy. Providing access to the old policy pathway for students who enrolled under different terms reflects a commitment to fairness and consistency, aligning with fundamental Canadian values. Upholding the credibility of the government and fostering trust among citizens is paramount, as arbitrary changes to policies undermine public confidence and erode trust in governance.

    Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing great. I have a question, and I do not know if you guys have already discussed it.
    I worked from May 2023 to February 2024 (10 months) in McBride, BC which belongs to area 3. Due to my husband's work permit application, we were forced to leave my work and the town. Today is June 2024, and I have received a new job offer to work in Ladysmith, BC, which belongs to Area 3 as well. Located on Vancouver Island. But reading the BCPNP Guide from the government does not help me to answer my question. Since the guide stated this:
    Regional experience:
    To qualify for regional experience points, you must have completed at least one year full-time (or full-time equivalent) paid employment:
    • in Area 2 or 3 (i.e. outside of the MVRD)
    • within 5 years prior to registering with the BC PNP
    So my question is is this regional experience accumlative? In addition, it does not say it has to be related to the job offer I am using to apply for my BCPNP not the job experience does not need to be within the same job position.

    It seems like since April 2024 the minimum score for ECE is similar to all other skilled workers.
    Do you have any advice for someone who is graduating now with an ECE certification looking to get their PR in BC?
    Is something like an appeal possible? Like "I went into my ECE certification because the minimum score was 60 and while I've been studying its gone up to 93"

      Unfortunately not, they do not see it that way, in their perspective, you missed out the opportunity :(

    Hello, I am currently doing MBA in BC. Can I take ECEA certification along with my studies and then work as ECEA? I don’t have teaching experience back in my home country. Am having an HR profile. Can I be eligible to apply for BC PNP through Early childhood educator program if I switch my profession?

    • @LisaIsNohproblem
      @LisaIsNohproblem  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, you can take ECEA certification and also work as ECEA. You can calculate your BC PNP score using the link provided below.

    for skilled workers it shows 2 years experience required, is it same for ECE assistants or 1 year is enough?

      For the BC PNP, a three-year diploma does not equate to a bachelor's degree.

    Hello, do you have idea on British Columbia PR application. I have a very specific query -
    If I submit my profile under EEBC program ( BC Express Entry process ) and get invitation from BC, does it require employer’s declaration form from Employer ?
    If anyone get invite from Ontario under Human Capital express entry, then there is no support is required from Employer in Ontario. But I am not sure about BC.

    • @LisaIsNohproblem
      @LisaIsNohproblem  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, if you submit your profile under the BC Express Entry program (EEBC) and receive an invitation from British Columbia, it does require an employer’s declaration form from your employer. In contrast, Ontario's Human Capital Priorities Stream under the Express Entry system does not require employer support or a declaration for the application process. To get further details, please contact us. Thanks.
