I started my saltwater journey and Seth helped me begin mine! I learned a lot and honestly living right there around the corner from his store! He help teach me the names and what the key was on controlling my parameters! Seth is by far the best and most experienced I’ve ever spoken to about coral and fish help! Thank You SETH! I love to see the amazing progress and huge improvement and fame to your company!! 🙌🏼
Wow. When I saw that arrangement of corals in the left corner along with that nem literally gave me goosebumps. Some of the most natural coral placement I've seen.
You guys that have local stores like this don’t know how lucky you are. My 2 stores within a hour away both have giant aptasia and hair algae in their display tanks
Great Video! Saw the reel you guys did about this place, so we decided to go check them out on small business Saturday. They blew my mind! I was on total overload. Seth was super informative, and we got some great pieces! Can't wait to go back! Also, more videos from here please!
@@ReefBuildersVideo Something like a Tanzonite Terror, Poison Envy, Steller Stylo, a rainbow plate, and a SBB Biferia. With the sale , it was just over $100. Killer deal!
We have an experimental video with just about every coral in the store coming out toward the end of the year. Their collection is AMAZING. Drool worthy for sure! ~Remy
Been there several times and featured the store on my LFS blog. It's nice to see everything looking so good. They have a great store, though a bit different than others in that they are I&M first and store second. Now that I think about it, not unusual for salty LFS.
All for reef is just a organic BOMB that he is not aware off. Organic carbon utilises bacteria in your system to convert the carbon to an inorganic form. Inorganic carbon is what corals need to build their skeleton and is the measure of truly usable Alkalinity in your aquarium. For example Tritons N-DOC gives you a reading of both your organic and inorganic carbon levels in an aquarium. If you add organic carbon the buffering potential of your water (Alkalinity) looks good but is not usable for coral until it is converted by bacteria into inorganic carbon. Works for about several years while your small coral colonies are starting to grow but as consumption increases all customers hit a threshold where the bacteria cannot convert enough organic carbon to meet the needs of larger Acropora colonies and the system crashes with problematic bacterial issues.
Trust me - these guys are aware - we spoke for hours about DOC, microbiome etc and I looked at all of their data - we will be testing if calcium formate’s addition shifts the microbiome in the studio this year - stay tuned

Aren’t you an owner on reef builders?
It’s odd how big industry people in reefing own Reef builders but they preach the other way.
