Good morning from Singapore, Barbara I m so happy to see your video. Have been tangling on bijou tiles for the past few weeks quite aimless. Your video giving me a new joy and direction to my daily tangling. Thank you very much. See you
Now it's good morning from Texas. You are so welcome, Josephine! Thank you so much for your kind comments. I really felt inspired to do these tiles and I'm so happy that this also brought you joy. Have an awesome day!
I just wanted you know how much I enjoy your videos and how much I’ve learned from you. You do the entire tangle and never skip forward which is so good for people who are learning. You are one of the very best with your zentangle videos.
Hi Deena. Thank you so much for your kind comments!! I'm very happy to know that you enjoy my videos and that you're learning from them. I love sharing Zentangle and I'm glad you found my channel. 🥰❤️
Thank you! I am floundering in my creativity, and this was a great way to get the pen moving again and inspire me. I appreciate your "no pressure" teaching.
You are so welcome! I was feeling the same (floundering with creativity) and needed something easy to share. Thank you for your kind comments. I really appreciate it and hope you continue to enjoy the videos! :)
I love watching your videos and going back to the beginning is a great idea. It is always good to revisit what started us on our Zentangle journey. Thank you for the wonderful videos.
Thank you very much, Yvonne. I have really enjoyed going back to the basics and remembering how excited I was when I first found Zentangle. Thank you for your comments! :)
I love zentangle been watching videos for ever never had the courage to start but you got me excited it is so easy to follow your instruction that I will be starting thank you for sharing
Wow, thank you so much for your comments! I'm always very happy to inspire someone to do Zentangle. If you saw my first attempt at it years ago, you would know for sure that you can do it also! Thanks for watching. Have fun!! :)
Started zentangling about two years ago... lost interest. You're a good teacher.. you have inspired me to give it another try because of your instructions. Than you very much.
I really enjoyed watching today. You expressed many of the same thoughts I have had when I try doing the more complex, colorful tiles. Back to basics of black and white tiles is a nice way to relax and enjoy the process. Thanks.z
Thank you for this breakdown of pattern, your calm and slow words not only make me want to know more but actually want to try it myself, when you were explaining each pattern, some of the intricate pattern I'd not even notice and wanted to know how you could fit what looked like a circle pattern into a out of aligned square but you did and now I can see how it worked. I will like and subscribe as I now want to learn more and try it myself. Thank you again
Hi Denise. You are so welcome! I'm so glad that you enjoyed this video and want to do more. Thanks for watching and subscribing and I hope you enjoy some of my other videos too. I'll be doing more with this mosaic too. :)
I love your videos. Your instructions are really good and I love your little stories. I practice the individual patterns first on my practice pad and then do the tile. That seems to work for me. I also like the way you stress that it doesn't have to be perfect. Thank you.
You are so welcome! And thank you for your kind comments. I also practice new patterns on scrap paper, then I try them out on my tiles. I'm very happy that you've enjoyed my videos! :)
Thank you so much for your comments today. Especially about it not being a competition. I was just diagnosed with parkinsons, a ds as you can imagine my lines are far from straight and smooth. But I love the Zen of drawing these patterns, and I've decided that if it's helping me not only with relaxing but with your help, I'm accepting that it is okay not to be perfect.
I'm so sorry for your diagnosis. I'm glad that you know the joy of Zentangle is in the method, not in the outcome. Definitely keep doing what you can, and don't worry about perfection at all. I hope that you're able to keep up the practice. Thank you for your comments and for watching my channel. I wish you the best.
Hi Barbara, love your mosaic concept. Wanted to comment on your student who was struggling and you recommended One Tangle A Day book is where you started. So did I. I revisited the book recently while putting together a local class here in Las Cruces NM. You then mentioned The Zentangle Primer and thought it was a better choice. I came to that conclusion as well. I now recommend the Primer because it really does give you the basics by the founders .
Thank you, Yehudit. I've really enjoyed doing simple tiles again and feeling the relaxation that comes with it. The Zentangle Primer is definitely one of our best resources for beginners and seasoned tanglers! :)

You are more than teacher, but, an enabler
Wow, thank you. I appreciate that very much. ❤️❤️🥰
I know this is from a year ago ... but I just came across it. I love it. I’m going to do all 9. Thank YOU!
Wonderful! I’m glad you found it and hope you enjoy it as much as I did. 🥰

I put a dog bed in my craft room, so my dog sleeps while I record my video. If she barks I can hopefully edit it out.
