This is crazy im a 22 year old lad not too religieous been going through a rough patch in life feeling lost. Went glastonbury on tuesday to go to the festival and clear my mind. On the last night of the festival i had a spiritual awakening and heard my calling. And have felt fully energised since and know what i must do in life. And i never belive in hocus pocus but glastonburys magic

I am so blessed to be able to go to stay in Glastonbury (Isle Of Avalon) when ever i need. And to attend the many beautiful pagan celebrations and rituals
It has become a very Important part of my life.
Love and Light to you all.

I visited from Australia a few weeks ago. I was not expecting, or much aware of its legends, energy and wonder. But it proved to be a magical experience that i was not expecting. I had a sensation of warm, gentle electricity flowing through me. most apparent during the journey when climbing up and then down. Highly recommended.

Yes! That's the energy from the ley lines which actually meet together there. It's an incredible feeling!

Glastonbury is truly a place blessed. I visited there on a February day in 1974 & with hardly any visitors to the Abbey, I was able to be 'guided' by forces unseen & came away uplifted in Spirit with so many experiences, which still resonate with me, 50 years later. ❤

I love glastonbury the place not tge festival.. i have felt glastonbury calling me for about 10 years now. I am only 3 hours away and i go as often as i can. I would move there in a second and i have spoken to my husband about it, but my husband has a very good and specific job that can not be done anywhere but here and that has given us a fab life so i am absolutely fine with living here and visiting glastonbury whenever i like. The feeling i get in glastonbury, the munute i steo out the car, its magical, the vibe/energy is so strong there. There are ley lines under glastonbury which is why all the spiritual people feel it calling to us. Theres the gardens with 2 different healing waters too.. i would advice anyone spiritual in any way to go!

The ROSE, my debut novel, encapsulates the Glastonbury ethos. It's about a religion named The Religion of Self-Enlightenment and the man who writes it. It's fiction.

I was here recently. I felt the need to visit the Tor. Walked to the top and removed my shoes and socks. I wanted to ground and feel the energy. I did.

I genuinely don't mind the new-age crowd in Glastonbury and like to let people view the world however they prefer. That said, I do wish there was more content available for the, for lack of a better word, skeptically-minded people that are intrigued by the history and architecture of Glastonbury. I'm not particularly knowledgeable about it, and I'd like to be, but it's very difficult for me to find what would be conventionally called educational material on the region on TH-cam.

      Search history of Somerset?
Try King Arthur and the Holy Grail?
The place is about other than what you read in books. Look up Joseph of Aramathea? .(sp?)
      Mysticism.?

If you are skeptical then you should indulge in your curiosity.
Do you think all these religious/spiritual/new age people are just woo woo believers who want to believe in a god, or do you think it might be possible that there is something to it? After all the idea of God had been a global phenomenon throughout the whole of human history. But I guess they were all just scared gullible people...

I wouldn’t call it a melting pot because that entails everything is mixed up and becomes one thing. The US is a melting pot. I’m from Canada,
And we are working on unity through diversity but not melting into one thing. Someone compared us to a salad. You can have and experience the different components and yet they all work together in harmony accommodating everyone.
