yes, he has low mobility compared to the rest of the cast, but backs it up with hard hits and armored attacks. to really be successful you have to predict your opponent and call out their greed. Half the time you're blocking and getting high/low mixed, the other half you're breaking their spine on your shoulders.
guys hear me out pot gets waay more meter than before making his rc pot buster become even more threatening since it has amour. i think this character is actually on the higher end of the cast. they removed kara cancels but now you get to use rc more like how andross did this whole match. pretty good if you ask me. also where's garuda impact this whole set lmao😭😭😭😭
@@snowflake4108 you cant kara it anymore so it has less range and having less knockback was to try to compensate for the removal of kara canceling. it also doesnt trigger counter hits anymore and hes susceptible to counter hits because the counter hit state is longer. and lastly it has less chip damage less guard crush duration and less tension gain. it got nerfed pretty heavily
@4:42, this the pot experience. You burst, and the opponent just runs back across the screen before you even get a chance to move. so if you're in the corner, you're stay in the corner. lol with pot being so slow, the burst mechanic isn't as beneficial to him as other char's
@@thuroria7631 there's normal cancels you can't 6P, but Elphelt canceling into rekka is always Gold Burstable (she can only very barely bait wakeup reversal Gold Burst with a perfectly meaty rekka starter to put things in perspective if she was doing that for oki). And I'd argue if you were going to panic blue burst the terribly designed unreactable mix, you might as well be Gold Bursting her for higher value since that is ACTUALLY something you can do on reaction especially if they're smooth brained enough to think 6HS Rekka is foolproof. Also while heavenly prc is theoretically optimal to get Potemkin out of trouble in general, the input is obscenely difficult to the point where it's impractical to do in every blockstring, whereas reaction Gold Burst is in comparison very easy in situations where it's applicable.

Can someone explain to me Pot's 5K? I'm not pro at all but to me it seems like just a useless close ranged poke that doesn't do a lot. However I see a lot of high level pots use it a lot. Thanks!

Yes, you nailed it, potemkin dies 50% of time before pressing a button.
The idea is that he is big, slow, clunky so he has a hard time hitting you...but if he does hit, you are dead.
