    I have Hyperparathyroidism. Diagnosed at 50 and now am 56. My thyroid is fine. I had 3 1/2 parathyroid glands removed in 2016. The 1/2 gland left is causing me a lot of issues. Now have to look further with doctor. My PTH test came back as an 89, 3 weeks ago. Getting it tested tomorrow. It's causing havoc on my body once again here in 2022. Issues this time, Optic Nerve Inflammation, vision loss and skin issues, spots all over my skin, headaches and memory loss along with heart palpitations.

    I had this at 11 years old! It took forever to diagnose, and the surgeon had never seen someone my age with it!! I had to have 1 (or 2?) removed!

    Shesh this is something that need done yearly! I plan to have gastric surgery in couple months and had to get super extensive blood work….found out my OTH is 142….I’ve had some strange symptoms the last few months that drs can pinpoint…he’ll have had of these symptoms for years with no answer. I’m 35. I’m relieved it’s nothing super crazy but still concerning

    My intact pth is 550. Kidney disease, 4th stage. BUN is 40. Creatinine is around 3.5. Calcium normal. Microalbumin very high, 12.3. What could be solution, increase vitamin d and calcium? Don't have any problems. Maybe I can function for long time like this. Albumin in blood normal and potassium and phoshporous. Mostly everything else normal, no diabetes, normal cholesterol but blood pressure is like 160 by 90. Age is 80yo.

    I am diagnosed with this but my blood veins good no calcium blockages, I take extra vitamin D so doc says too much. Bone density excellent and improved over 4 years with Prolia injection. Doc said to reduce vitamin D.

      @@ranigovender3252The endocrine system is your "everything" in the body. It controls the heart, kidneys, body temperature, hormones, cells and so on. Ever since I developed thyroid issues, I have been studying everything I can about the endocrine system. It's wild.

    My Mother PTH 97.9 Drs Said It's Suspection Of Multiple Myeloma Malignancy.
    Is 97.9 PTH Save Or Not .

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A PTH level of 97.9 pg/mL can indicate a possible abnormality; further investigation for multiple myeloma malignancy as suspected by your doctors is advisable. ❤️
