at the time of the album 17 dropped, I had been going through some tough times with a breakup and my grandmother passing. it was like no one was there to help and I was pushing away support like friends and family. it was horrible. jahseh has released 17 and it had made me feel like I wasn’t alone, like someone could share in my emotions. i could connect with someone no matter if they’re older than me, have gone through way more, have a much bigger following. i felt like x was there for me in my toughest times. ill always come back during lonely times and times when I’m feeling low. though x has passed, his music will live on. rip x.

Dylan Freeman i’m guessing you think people can’t change? he actually said he believes in a God, not once has the said he worships the devil. A man who has mad a change for the better to only be positive, isn’t the devils work. so what is your point my guy?
I hate that people say he was chasing death and the devil. First of all, he was a teenager in 2016-2017. He was an "emo" and depressed so he was at a state of conceptualizing and understanding death in the public eye. A lot of teens go through that dark phase in their own ways. Whether it be through gang behavior or gothy behavior. He was doing a mix of both, he had to stay hard around the edges because he grew up around the hood and had misconceptions that to be big in hip hop you had to talk big and fight loud. Most kids get to do that in private and cope in their own ways and get help in private. Instead of help, he got jail. So he tried to cope through his music and his image.
Secondly, he had other meanings behind the "speaking to satan" shit, everything isn't so black and white and literal. He was talking to his inner demons, he was talking to the corrupt world. He wasn't doing some devil worship.
He was talking about his death constantly as a means of being okay with it, conquering fear of it, in case he ever fell that far into the depths of despair to the point that he was gonna end it. That was a cry out for help. He was crying out for help. But then that courage he gained from embracing death and his fears, helped him get out of that mindset of wanting to die, he was then able to talk about death as a means of preserving his life. If he made it through the darkness, he seemed to think he could elevate to a lighter side to life. And he began to walk that light path in 2018. It's sad that we wouldn't see what he could have been now that he was getting a better understanding of things, spreading love, and doing better.
I hate that people talk about "getting help" "rehabilitation" and shit, and when people try to recover from the wrongs they do, we still criminalize and demonize them and keep them down in a place that breeds more wrong.

So he didn't even bother to risk losing his fans by releasing a whole different type of music and yet gormless people like you think that guy was just pretending to be sad and wanted to follow an emo trend.
Also he was never convicted of beating his ex girl, in fact it is known that she faked her pregnancy and that afterwards she even admitted for lying. But keep believing what you hear, that's exactly how people thought Hitler was a good guy, because they were told so.
