X touched me in a place no artist has before and no artist ever will. The emotions present in his music are (to me) the most accurate representation of depression and anxiety in music. You'll be missed X but you touched the hearts of millions. I know we wouldv'e been proud of the man you were trying to become.
kush dreams if you enjoy music with that subject matter then I’d wanna recommend a band called La Dispute. They really dig deeper into those emotions than you’d usually find in music.
"his fans are gotta be going through it" shows how influential he was in a worldwide state, especially at his age. He knew what had to be done to be a better person and to just do good because if he was so bad, you don't hate him because of what he did, you hate him because of how strong and capable and willing he was to change, and people don't like that. His death is something that I can't help think about everyday, because this world is not what it would've been if he were here. Just like me, someone else found hope in him. RIP xxxtentacion. Once in a generation artist
He would've been the one to change things for his generation; look how fast he was growing with no help/guidance. Homie had stopped popping pills and smoking cigarettes! He was for real about being on his Zen getting healthier and stronger; that's what makes it all the more tragic b/c he was so close and just needed more time.
@@jimmyrustler5338 The guidance he didn't have is the help I'm referring to that he didn't have. Also he didn't have a major record label behind him; everyone he worked with was a contact he made. He didn't have as much help as most artists who have the following he did..
justme830210 but a big reason he got his buzz was because of people like kid trunks ski they would go around town handing out his music like look at me he even had people over sea he had a plan but many people helped along the way

Smh I swear some people are so childish and anal y'all just like to object for the sake of arguing over nothing and being noticed lol.
Real talk Joe! Rest In Peace XXXTentacion. People are mocking his tragic death is disgusting. People forget Malcolm X was pimp and hustler before he changed his way and become the man he was. These days people are judged to be guilty before having the chance of proving their innocence. Not innocent until proven guilty. Its disheartening. Guy was only 20.
Preachaman TV / Mancunia Rebél its worth mentioning that mistakes are the seed of wisdom if you learn to treat them as such. To learn from your mistakes makes a real impression that stays a part of who you are. It's only when you repeat the mistakes after knowing that they were mistakes that you truly prove your ignorance. Another small bit to note is that sometimes the most wise and knowledgeable teachers in history became such by having walked in the shoes of darkness. Who better to guide a man that has tread through the mud than that man that found his way out of it? Thats all.
It’s always sad when someone so young doesnt get the opportunity to live a full life. Smh. R.i.p. much ❤️and respect to the joe budden podcast for doing this
Dylan Freeman i’m guessing you think people can’t change? he actually said he believes in a God, not once has the said he worships the devil. A man who has mad a change for the better to only be positive, isn’t the devils work. so what is your point my guy?
I believe XXX was going to really reach a mass amount of people which was already starting to happen. I just learned about him maybe four or five months before his passing. But from what I have learned, in my own opinion I believe XXX's death was part of a more darker and sinister evil then just that robbery.
ZombieBros_856 I believe the music industry is very evil and I also believe as long as you doing what they want you to do everything is fine in your career but once you start really doing the opposite which is good helping people putting positive music out there it seems to go against what they believe in the Hollywood industry. I pray x did not purposely want to take his life I really believe he was a good kid just a little misguided.
ZombieBros_856 but to really answer your question I wonder if he wanted be responsible for his own murder because he know they was going to kill him anyway; and he didn't want to lose his life by the hands of the industry. These are all just my own personal opinions sorry if I overstepped anything.

He should've left Florida; the people who are the most jealous of you will be those trying to make it like you from your home town and surrounding areas. If you actually make it and they don't, then they will target you.
justme830210 Florida isn't a bad place though. Deerfield isn't even a bad place. It's not really even hood. I honestly think it was a hit or it was set up. I just don't buy it as some random hit.
sonofaballer96 I think it was a hit too, but I've seen other recent racist cases in Broward county, and their court system seems even more discriminatory that usual. They literally seem to throw young people away without evidence and try to violate them without cause on these probations. Some people don't mind oppression, but I do and wouldn't have stayed there.
Keedah Babb it could have happened anywhere, when people don't want to see you live and be happy they will do anything to get u out. Pulse this look likes a set up by his cuz
100% with Joe on this. I only started getting to know X through his more recent positive charitable actions, so his passing was a shock to the system. He was murdered in broad daylight at the age of 20. He's dead, and all humanity just went out of the window.
all humanity went out the window when he beat his pregnant girl up. fuck what the fanboys say, 15 charges (mostly domestic violence) and there's photos and a footage.
Know Never People all have demons in their life , some try to face them and others run from them, xxx was not perfect but already he was trying to change his life and be a better person than he was the other day.
Know Never 1). Most of the domestic violence was proven to be fake and she lied 2). You probably didn’t have good control of your emotions when you were in your teens 3). Why did you throw out his charitable contribution to domestic violence victims? Smh you gonna ignore the good people do and focus on the bad... you what’s wrong with America
Issa Knife 1.) No, he actually pleaded no-contest to most of the domestic violence. She admitted she lied about the beating only after she said tentacion is stalking her and her fans are harrassing her. Picture coming together? 2.) You'll need you to re-phrase that non-english commonplace, on the other hand, don't bother, you don't have the credibility to speak on such topics. 3.) How can you be so blind? He's facing 15 charges, looong days in prison hang above his neck, so he open up a charity (an urge he never had before, isn't that just interesting?) "oh, look at me, I'm different now, I'm changing my life, look at me people, I opened a charity, that perfectly proves that I... have money. I mean I care for people now and... can I go home?" But even if you fell for his bullshit: one right in another direction doesn't fix a wrong. He should open a charity for his pregnant girl, don't you think? You're an oblivious, borderline liberitarian, blind sheep. You're what's wrong with the world, not just america. Plus you're a fangirl butt-hurt from the sad truth surfacing about her favourite artist. And fuck his wack mumble rap anyways.
Know Never lmao 1). I’m a dude 2). So you’re backing someone who basically committed perjury because of some fans 😂 3). You’re some liberal who tries to attack someone else’s political views because you’re wrong 4). You don’t have anymore qualifications than I do (seeing my mom get beat down in the middle of the street in front of my high school gives me way more of a qualification than your college degree) 5). So I’m what’s wrong with America because I like seeing people improve as a person and right their wrongs? Look at yourself in the mirror and keep telling yourself that seeing people fail makes you the cream of the crop of Americans. Edit: you’re probably a white boy who is white knighting but it comes down to black kid was gunned down at 20 and you’re shiting on him because you hate black excellence
Out of all radio personalities and podcasters, Joe Budden is probably the most competent with putting out hip hop commentary. Granted, there may be some things I disagreed with in the past BUT Joe makes valid points in all his content. Im disappointed with Hot 97 and power 105 coverage on X. They need new faces.
20 years old, so young.... I like more than a few songs by X, he’s by far the most talented out of all the SoundCloud artists, but let’s not act like there isn’t hours of video footage of him beating people up, and even a short clip of XXX punching a girl across the head while she’s blindsided. Some people didn’t like him while he was alive, and they do not have to like him because he’s dead. While I would NEVER disrespect or exploit the dead myself, all of these reactions (positive/negative) are to be expected. #xxxtentacion #ripX
Ralphie Lauren TV X was aware of his flaws and was actively trying to fix them. His childhood was messed up... an influx of poverty, violence, and mental illness. I find his death sad because he gave an effort to get away from his past.
That was his ex and rumors are she posted it as a joke. They were on and off until he passed away, even after she brought up the charges against him, which caused him to get slapped with Witness Tampering. Kid had a wild life.
MariahWhitneyCelineJanetMadonna He was getting involved with charity events but beyond that in his vlogs he spoke quite a bit about how he wanted to get away from the violence and psychological influences of his past and be a positive influence.
Angelic Troublemaker be careful how you entertain strangers, you may be entertaining angels unawares. Angels have always walked amongst us...they look like you and me, you would think they are regular people. Many accounts in the bible references angels but they appear to be regular people.
LoudRelief MAKE ME WANNA HOLLA!!!!😖... I'm like he is right , HOWEVER, we ARE ALL HUMAN and IDGAF if someone is an "angel" or NOT bc we all have the ability to change and No one deserves to get MURDERED. Rosenberg made it seem as if bc XXX was not a perfect angel he got what he deserved or people shouldn't feel bad about it. My comment was not pertaining to a spiritual POV I was just commenting on what was said on the show.
Angelic Troublemaker Bitch you crazy? 16 charges against him, mostly domestic violence and he pleaded no-contest to most to begin with. beats up his pregnant girlfriend? fuck what the fanboys say, there's a footage of him punching a woman in the eye and guess what, photos of her pregnant girlfriend with a black eye surfaced. you even think before you speak?
Know Never welp, don't bother trying to be a good person bc I'm sure you've done some bad things and apparently bad outweighs the good it doesn't matter how much you grow as a person your mistakes are what defines you. Sheesh you might as well stop breathing right now man. I'm sure you remember when you when you were a baby and tried to walk but kept falling down. Why try you already failed/fell.
Xxxtentacion once mentioned Sheridan house ministries where he was in the boys' residential group that he really liked. Wonder what happened after he left there that the positive energy didn't continue for him. I think that was a seed planted, but never watered, and he was making his way back to it and trying to feed it, but died before he could get it's first sprout... He was spiritually finding his faith after being brought through satanic doctrine...He had soooo much to overcome.
All this young man wanted is love and positivity. There’s no need for any negativity. If we can use our energy to promote positivity that’s what needs to be done and that’s that.
Amen I miss XXXtentecion he may have been a kid but he inspired me I deal with depression so I could relate to him. He tried to lift himself despite his demons may God rest his weary soul. R.I.P XXX your are gone but not forgotten

30:08 about Joe's point about geography & going outside.. X kept to himself. He was quiet & the past few months just stayed with his people just working on his craft. That's what makes it so random & tragic. As of lately he really did just stay to himself.
Wertys right but he was still in his home spot. Sometimes you can't stay home, not when you live dirty or around a certain element. Six months is nothing. That ain't enough time to be absolved of your sins and if people know where you are that's more than enough time to plot on your life when you have e decided to lay low and finally change
“This kids story wasn’t over”. That shit hit me so hard. He had too much potential. Yes, I'm glad that he didn't show that video that everybody is posting with lack of respect. And I know he was shook. It's just that he, like everybody else is post videos after videos because that's the norm now. Event happens, all the commentary avalanche happens
But it’s okay for a news channel to do so I believe if they didn’t step in to help they should get a punishment I agree it’s disgusting they were recording instead of helping such as perform cpr or lay him down and shit but naw they kept recording but I think as long as something is being done it’s okay to record I guess
@Gold I know it's news and stuff, but it is a human being dead. Even when they showed the dead body of Gaddafi, I had the same reaction. Just my sense of respect. If it was a school shooting victim, they would talk about respecting the departed etc...
Bro I was just starting to really get into his music before he died. I literally had Sad and I don’t wanna do this anymore on repeat literally the day before he died. I first heard of him through look at me and it took me a while to get into the song because of how different it was. After he died, I felt an enormous amount of indescribable dejection.. I then started to get heavily into his music and now I can consider him an inspiration due to how much in common we have..

Most of the domestic violence was proven to be fake and she lied
2). You probably didn’t have good control of your emotions when you were in your teens
3). Why did you throw out his charitable contribution to domestic violence victims?
Smh you gonna ignore the good people do and focus on the bad... you what’s wrong with America
Issa Knife
1.) No, he actually pleaded no-contest to most of the domestic violence.
I’m a dude
2). So you’re backing someone who basically committed perjury because of some fans 😂
3). You’re some liberal who tries to attack someone else’s political views because you’re wrong
4). You don’t have anymore qualifications than I do (seeing my mom get beat down in the middle of the street in front of my high school gives me way more of a qualification than your college degree)

That was his ex and rumors are she posted it as a joke. They were on and off until he passed away, even after she brought up the charges against him, which caused him to get slapped with Witness Tampering. Kid had a wild life.
David Kess what was he doing to change?
MariahWhitneyCelineJanetMadonna He was getting involved with charity events but beyond that in his vlogs he spoke quite a bit about how he wanted to get away from the violence and psychological influences of his past and be a positive influence.
I was locked up when x passed, saw it on the news, my heart dropped,,RIP xxx
This was Joe Budden at his best. Thank you for the commentary. #BIGGERPICTURE
He was NOT an" angel"...he was HUMAN!! This is real life 😤! #RIPXXX 💯
What are u talking about...u completely took what I said all out of context ..my comment was strictly pertaining to what PETER Rosenberg INSENSITIVE ASS said about XXX stating," he was NO angel ..." I'm like he is right , HOWEVER, we ARE ALL HUMAN and IDGAF if someone is an "angel" or NOT bc we all have the ability to change and No one deserves to get MURDERED. Rosenberg made it seem as if bc XXX was not a perfect angel he got what he deserved or people shouldn't feel bad about it. My comment was not pertaining to a spiritual POV I was just commenting on what was said on the show.
Angelic Troublemaker
Bitch you crazy?
16 charges against him, mostly domestic violence and he pleaded no-contest to most to begin with. beats up his pregnant girlfriend? fuck what the fanboys say, there's a footage of him punching a woman in the eye and guess what, photos of her pregnant girlfriend with a black eye surfaced.
you even think before you speak?
LoudRelief
I've met a few I'm sure. Some just helped me out and left, not waiting for any kind of compensation, never to be seen again.
He was spiritually finding his faith after being brought through satanic doctrine...He had soooo much to overcome.
justme830210 Absolutely 💯💜
Very well said, but we are growing. We are a community we need to find a path that leads to mass success. TheGreatGreatness fuck TheGreatDepression
You ever see his tree tattoo?

The best way to help is to stay alive. - Joe Budden
That intro was a beautiful tribute...
Pisces R'us yeah except the airhorn lol
Pisces R'us yesss
Where can it be found
What's the tune
dennyp Marvin Gaye "inner city blues" (make me wanna holler)
Can’t finish this episode because I can’t get past the intro. Incredible tribute to XXXTentacion Joe!
RIP X , appreciate y’all and what you do for the culture
All this young man wanted is love and positivity. There’s no need for any negativity. If we can use our energy to promote positivity that’s what needs to be done and that’s that.
YOU NAILED IT!!! PEOPLE CAN BE SO CRUEL, THAT BABY FRONTAL LOBE WAS NOT EVEN FULLY DEVELOPED, HE ONLY STARTED TO LIVE...
Dianne Delina preach
RastaCameron97 you fool he was still a child and his brain was not fully developed which is proven science
Amen I miss XXXtentecion he may have been a kid but he inspired me I deal with depression so I could relate to him. He tried to lift himself despite his demons may God rest his weary soul. R.I.P XXX your are gone but not forgotten
RastaCameron97 You're so fucking dumb bro. Let me explain it to you in simple terms;
X was 20 correct? Your brain doesn't finish growing until you're 25 correct? Now use your fucking head and put two and two together. Him being 20 doesn't take anything away from his music.
RastaCameron97 brah this ain’t the U.K it’s the U.S. no 16 year old in this generation is an adult. By the way adults brains don’t fully develop until 25 so that is science. Thank you come again.
This people is how you address a situation like this.
*He deserves to be admired for the positives he represented... RIP X*
Cool C allegedly
Kush Kouch 702 and what about the negatives?
Kush Kouch 702 it is not allegedly, stop defending him
fitchgirl02 I hope no one celebrates your death
Sincere, that's what X was. It's still hard to believe he's gone. Feels like a glitch in the matrix.
26:50 - Give props to Charlamagne and J. Cole though. Charlamagne tried to tell 69 to stop with the gang shit and J. Cole connected with Pump to squash any beef or (perceived) beef.
That's a blatant LIE. He's been LOUDLY preaching against these young rappers testing the wolves for a long time. He never wished death on anybody. And with all those upvotes you got this is how rumors start. Stop spreading false rumors about good people.
J.Cole did that shit to promote his album
Vibe he didn’t wish death upon him he told him the real if you keep doing what you doing you gon end up in JAIL OR DEAD same thing My OGz Told me when I was young an trynna gangbang
fam... shut the fuck up. he was LITERALLY telling him to stop with the street shit before its too late.. dont know how you interpret that as wishing death
if you can't see throught Charlamagnes bullshit badmind 'warnings' you are a poor judge of character. point blank
Joe is organic...keeps it real...r.i.p xxx
30:08 about Joe's point about geography & going outside..
X kept to himself. He was quiet & the past few months just stayed with his people just working on his craft. That's what makes it so random & tragic. As of lately he really did just stay to himself.
Wertys right but he was still in his home spot.
Sometimes you can't stay home, not when you live dirty or around a certain element. Six months is nothing. That ain't enough time to be absolved of your sins and if people know where you are that's more than enough time to plot on your life when you have e decided to lay low and finally change
Wertys
Vitaluv this was exactly i was fucking thinking
Yeah he spent more time doing worse things.
I don't wanna go outside, get caught in traffic :'(
“This kids story wasn’t over”.
That shit hit me so hard. He had too much potential. Even though people use that saying all the time after a young person dies but this kids story wasn’t over, he was only going to get bigger and do better things. Robbery gone wrong my ass. His inner circle had him killed. You don’t just ride around with a black van and military grade sub machine guns hoping to see a target to rob.
You've clearly lived a privileged life to think these things are abnormal lol. I believe it was a set up by some enemies in high places but your statement is ignorant. I know several people personally that ride around with "military grade machine guns" with that same motive. Tis American life
@@rightnearthebeach same. But we will never know
@@rightnearthebeach”i know several people personally who ride around with military grade machine guns”. Lmfao that’s not a good thing to admit dude, that doesn’t make you sound cool. It means you live in a shit area and you’re clearly old enough to be self aware about it so move or suffer the same fate you brain dead moron
This was a great conversation. We need to keep having more of them . Good job guys.
I love you Joe. This video helped me so much man. I know you wont read this but that's cool. just wanted to put this out there.
Great Joe did but why not when he was alive so much fake media love
Mal and albino dissing akademiks who always covered xxx sad day
Chiraq5999 stop talking shit, clearly you don’t know nothing about Joe then
He constantly tried to advice X on Everyday Struggle each time X was mentioned
Why are you trying to saturate the positivity here?
45 tqk yep I remember him coming out and saying I like this kid, and saying I would like to talk to him, and give him some advice, and as the show went on he would say stop with all the dumb stuff.
It's disgusting how people could film him and others post online. All these accounts / channels should be suspended.
Ak out there milking the situation video after video
Kaysha he actually didn’t show the vid of x being lifeless. He actually knew x in real life unlike the ppl who don’t know him posting all these tributes when they didn’t care before then. So I don’t get how he is milking the situation but everyone else isn’t when he actually knew him
Yes, I'm glad that he didn't show that video that everybody is posting with lack of respect.
Kaysha Exactly. We used to be better than those third world countries and not do that shit.
Be happy you listened to his music before he passed
