Honestly its this and his insistance against hitting woman even in the face of death is why I love him. His will and dedication to his craft is so strong. It's definitely routed in sexism and it makes him make poor decisions that hurt his crew. I would like it more if it he had an arc about it where he comes to actually respect women as opponents and stopped acting quite as silly around them because then it could be actually critiqued a bit but I feel like Oda doesn't present it enough as a character flaw. I would love it if his reasons for treating women like he does were explored a bit more. Like if it is rooted in having his only safe people be his mom and sister growing up or something. It's good to not want to hit innocents and to not want to bully those who are weak, but women are not necessarily innocent and weak. Beating up a villainess is the same as beating up a villain. To refuse to beat up a woman who is a villain is kinda insulting her strength to defend herself and also probably hurts others in the long run so it's just kinda effed up that he doesn't. I love the show and manga, but reading it as a woman is a weird experience.

I love how both zoro's and sanji's themes are so different. I had clicked on a video about all of zoro's themes and I searched this up cause I wanted to see how different they were. Sanji's themes are fancy and elegant just like his personality and fighting style while zoro's themes are intimidating and show power and respect just like his personality, his themes also have a beast type feeling that reminds me of his fighting style. The toei soundboard really did an amazing job with the themes, they all fit the characters perfectly

Sanji is a perfect mixture of elegance, charm and flirtiness with a blend of speed cooked over the flames of hell to produce a kind hearted human with little touch of jazz.
When i hear sanji’s theme, it gives me a classy, gentleman, vibe and it feels like im in a formal vip restaurant surrounded with people who sells drugs and does illegal dealings.
sanji and franky have the most badass fighting music themes. i like sanji's the most because when this song plays in the anime you know hes about to kick some ass. some hardcore ass. i can just imagine people secretly in the background just playing this music and thinking. oh shit, shits about to go down. and the guys snapping just chewing gum like they were hoping for this to come and snickering while the guy gets his ass whooped.
