A micans on your birch log hanger would look so good too! I love all your plants and how you style them 💚 so beautiful
I just put a plant into stratum for the first time this week. I wasn’t sure if i was supposed to rinse the stratum but felt like I heard you are? But now I’m not sure bcuz it didn’t seem like it would come clean.

Hi! A micans is a great suggestion! I have them everywhere else so why not? lol I rinse my stratum SOMETIMES. To be honest, I haven’t noticed any type of difference. It removes the fine dust particles but it’s annoying to let dry or handle wet.

@@GardenOfKaylandthank you for the reply about what you do with stratum. I appreciate it, I’ll try not rinsing next time, it was super messy and hard to not get it in the drain.

Your Paraiso Verde has reverted. Mine did the same thing and come to find out its common for this one

You got that right. Made me go and chop it today lol

@@GardenOfKaylandParaiso Verde *does not revert* the variegation is dependent on heat/temperature not light like other variegated plants. In hotter seasons it will show more variegation and in cooler seasons it will be green. Variegation will always come back with a rise in temperature. Chopping changes nothing with the variegation. It's definitely worth googling "paraiso verde philodendron variegation temperature" or watching any youtube video on the paraiso verde talk about this

Great video! You may wish to invest in a microphone if you plan on doing this long term. The mic gets a little weird. Wish you the best!

@@GardenOfKaylandoh then easy fix. Perhaps you’re recording too loud and it can’t register the higher sounds. If you turn it down it could help? If you look at the volume when you’re recording it should stay below it’s like 75% of the bar and it shouldn’t hit the red part. Sorry if you know this already. I just wish you all the best because you have by far some of the nicest plants I’ve seen on the internet and I want to see more. Also you have good videography so it’s almost so close to perfect
If there’s a software you use to make the videos. See if there are any settings on all the audio clips like hum reduction or noise reduction. It usually makes your voice weirdish

Hey that’s actually some pretty solid advice. Especially the volume level. Thanks a lot. I just have to keep playing around and testing it out until I get it just right
