    Thank you so much for the great information. I have a feeling that ill find my future house 🏠 in Italy with you..we are working on getting our Italia passports trough my husband Italian Grand father.☺️

    I plan on returning to Germany in 2 years time. But I don't want to spend the rest of my life there. I want to live in Italy. At what point should I be looking?

      I think it's good to start looking at least 3 months before you plan on moving.

    Do you know anyone there that can help me with an elective visa or citizenship, I will be traveling from US , love the area, will need to rent first

      You need to do both from the U.S. The elective residence visa is something you can do on your own. But citizenship is a long and complicated process - there are lots of agencies that specialize in this in the U.S.
