To be honest no idea on all the llittle ebay parts but the TRX4 Defender was around £530 or $460 ish and you buy a clear body afterwards if you prefer to paint it yourself thanks for watching😁👍😁👍
It depends how much you want to spend and where you're going to use it if a Traxxas trx4 is in your budget they are the best all rounder or Axial crawlers all are great just depends which ones you like the look of best have fun shopping😁👍👍👍👍

Great video and an awesome bespoke build. I have owned my TRX-4 for about a week now and I've just spent over £100 on ebay for addon items and I haven't finished yet.! When you add it all up you're talking over a Grands worth. Just for an RC?...Hell yeah...! 😉👍( Edit . If you are thinking of changing the wheels you might need to drill out the centre hole of your new wheels. It does say this in the Manual but it's small print.. Who reads the small print?. Some of us RC nerds.. It' says you need a 6mm hole but I found a 5mm hole will make a nice snug fit.)

Hell Yeah!!! Im not sure if you have one (maybe i missed it) but you should get a Snatch Block! Using it will Double the strength of your winch! Only downside is that it will shorten the winch length. 🤘👽👽👽

This is such a beast😼 Looove the details, from the parts painted nicely to the marker for the doors and all the accesories. But man the stance on that green one is killer too🤔 can't pick a favorite here
Yeah most ebay sellers have disappeared since I did that build but all the parts are still listed on ebay just various different sellers from China if there are 1 or 2 things that were not from ebay I can advise if I can remember haha

Nice scale build! Great attention to detail. You make me very jealous, still shopping for my first scale crawler. Definitely had to have an Arnold "Terminator" action figure for this build, he's the perfect accompaniment.

@@rcadventureri found the best trick to use for the tiny bolts is get the little tool that comes with Tech Dech little skateboard and use that it’s so much easier lol

this is an awesome scale build for sure! One question though, wouldnt it have been better to do all this detail on a injora hard defender body instead of the lexan? Just wondering, I absolutely love the injora hard bodies. I also didnt realize how many bolt on accessories there was for the trx4. This is a awesome rig!

Thanks for checking it out😎 the roof spotlights are just connected to the receiver I use a Y lead to the receiver that gives 2 connectors the other end for 2 sets of lights to work on other Rc's I have used a multiple led connector to connect 3/4 sets of lights all bought off ebay cheap 👍👍
I have not weighed the body it but compared to a stock defender body that I have obvs more but the metal bits are so light and the roof plastic boxes weigh very little so not bad at all and its got brass all around on the wheels too. I think it looks heavier than it actually is possible cheers for checking it out👍

Im trying to install the window armors but the bolts that go on the back of the screws are so tiny i cant get them on lol how did you do it bro
yes fuddle but use your finger on the bolt at the back to hold in place that helps alot and only do it when your not stressed haha

Thanks just a pin that I heat on a flame goes through the plastic easily just choose the size pin for the hold needed costs nothing :)

this is an awesome scale build for sure! One question though, wouldnt it have been better to do all this detail on a injora hard defender body instead of the lexan? Just wondering, I absolutely love the injora hard bodies. I also didnt realize how many bolt on accessories there was for the trx4. This is a awesome rig!
Hi, I love the defender and to be honest you can do all this on lexan so easliy just wanted to try as I had the clear body ready I have done a few more defenders since this one, videos for those on my channel Blue one and Green one and now doing the new pickup defender body my latest video out cheers for checking it out much appreciated 👍👍👍

Looks like your window guards fit fine. Mine didn't line the with the holes.

Thanks for checking it out😎 the roof spotlights are just connected to the receiver I use a Y lead to the receiver that gives 2 connectors the other end for 2 sets of lights to work on other Rc's I have used a multiple led connector to connect 3/4 sets of lights all bought off ebay cheap 👍👍

How much does it weigh
I have not weighed the body it but compared to a stock defender body that I have obvs more but the metal bits are so light and the roof plastic boxes weigh very little so not bad at all and its got brass all around on the wheels too. I think it looks heavier than it actually is possible cheers for checking it out👍
