Personally I think it’s a really cheap way to make it harder, feels like they didn’t care about making it good like they tried with the rest of his kit and just added it on for the sake of difficulty
It's incredibly humbling to see you in action. I remember feeling like a deity of skill when I pulled my first perfect deflect off. It's wonderful how this game can make you feel accomplished for doing the smallest things.
This man is such a master Ongbal literally became my sensai when it came to this game. Everytime I struggled with a boss for too long I would look for their videos as an inspiration to be smarter and more wise with my skills. Everytime I get back on the game after watching a vid I immediately become a god and reck them. Now I can just speedrun no hit games all thanks to Ongbal. Man is a legend. Thx for the uploads and never stop destroying these bosses.
I’ve been playing Sekiro for the last week or so, I beat the game once before Elden Ring came out. But now I’m back on it and trying to platinum. Can’t get enough of the Sekiro combat. Your videos get me hyped to play. If only I could MOD the game on PS5 lol.
The new afterimage combo at 0:11 is really satisfying! Btw are you going to do some of the other JiDao bosses? I believe there's Isshin Ashina, Emma, and Genichiro so far.
@@legday9398 I think the crucial thing that makes this a fine boss fight is that everything is either deflectable or jumpable. You need umbrella, obvs, but that's commonplace for mods. Some mods just throw undeflectable multihits at you :/
to throw my opinion in, this one just seemed like eye candy rather than trying to be fun. if ongbal can't find a single cool thing to do besides missing thrust attacks, maybe they oughta rethink the balance. regardless, this one is very technically impressive, absolutely loved it! the mirror image is chefs kiss
Hey Ongbal! I just wanted to say that you're an inspiration to me, I never really got why people did No Hits of a boss until I watched your videos and decided to try it myself Currently in trying to No Hit Isshin whilst also doing it in a fashionable way like you do! I love your work, keep it up!
I’ve been trying no hits on the bosses too, but I’ve pretty much just used Ongbal strategies for the boss fights. I was able to no hit Isshin today, but I just used the umbrella. Using the spear like I see Ongbal do was very tricky, as you really need to know when you have an opening to use it and not get hit. Still have the Inner fights to no hit now, it’s been super fun. Very addicted to this game right now.
I looked many times frame by frame, rewinding everything back, otherwise it is not clear what is happening at all. Still, Isshin's evasions of your attacks by simply stepping to the side at the last moment are mesmerizing. And your impenetrable block is unbelievable. It's funny that he used lunges where Mikiri is enough =) I was stunned when Isshin has a red attack, when you have to jump on him, and after your jump he shoots a pistol at you - I was "Whaaaaaaat?" Thanks for your videos!
I subscribed to your channel when u upload your first combat vs Guardian Ape, i have learned so much from your videos, the use of all the tools in combat for example. The combat mode in Sekiro is unique in my opinion (deflect > rolling) Your videos are always beautiful to see , keep your nice and stunning work Brother N.B : i was happy when u upload your videos vs Owl as a comeback to Sekiro after playing to Elden.

That was such an incredible duel. These modders have gone above and beyond to create some of the most dynamic fights I've ever seen in a video game. The way that Isshin will transition from ultra-aggressive to seemingly unconsciously controlled by his weapons is like nothing I've ever seen. My favourite moment was at 1:30 where he charges you like a bull filled with rage, after using a moveset of mostly graceful combos. Great video as always Ongbal, you're the best at showcasing these mods, and thanks for uploading in 4K!

These mod devs might as well be Sekiro 2 Developers, so damn good. Regardless, Ongbal this was yet another banger, I can't see myself beating this modded boss for like a week let alone beating him without any hp damage/parry mistiming.

Me, myself have an obsession with parries, needless to say im addicted to your contents (i actually has some of it on my war sound list because i just wanted to hear some steel's roars while running for deadlines lol). Also, can we jusr agree on how fascinating Sekiro's mods can turn the game into? Prior ones wreak havok with new movesets hard mix ups, this one also had some of it, but more focus on obscuring vision with feints, shadows, petals etc., its graceful in a way that make its very interesting to watch. This is what Ongbal truly loves, after all. Elden Ring blew up, so he mastered that, but his heart truly lies with a shinobi's clashing blades and overwhelming odds, where there isn't even a prayer of reinforcement, just you against seasoned old war veterans who haven't lost a fight in decades. This is OG Ongbal right here, boys
This guy should be called Sekiro to be honest.. I cant even tell you how many times I watched the ultimate Isshin video of his, and finally was able to defeat him. You are a legend Ongbal
The way you play the game is really the ultimate experience as advertised. It's an endless chain of clings and clangs as the blades meet, but rarely is there even a scratch occuring on one of the combatants until you break posture and in a split second execute the trademark shinobi deathblow. Absolutely astounding to watch.
That is also why I find the lightning effect to be somewhat silly. You have the enemy immobilised for several seconds, this utterly ruins the flow of combat as you're just hacking and slashing on a target you could've instantly killed who is just withering it silently.
Pow pow pow ! You're clearly the ultimate f*cking boss ! This fight is known for being pretty hard and you do it with so much easiness, that's beautiful !
