I haven't heard anyone address the fact that Dallas gave up 120 yards in penalties. This is common practice for Dallas, especially the last few seasons. You can not hope to win a championship when your team is notorious for giving their opponents the entire field for free.
They don’t watch the game. They are just looking at the stat sheet.
Yeah. Don’t you know? All the penalty yardage and getting gashed in the run game also falls on Dak’s shoulders? Global warming? Dak’s fault. Potential alien invasion? Dak’s fault. Mitch McConnell randomly freezing up? Also on Dak.
One thing to realize about the penalties is many of them were from the OL where they had backups playing because of their 3 starters being out so it's an anamoly
@memeguy0076 An anomaly? Two seasons ago, they were the most penalized team in the league. Last season, they were around 5th or 6th if I remember correctly. We're 3 games in the season, and they are sitting close to 30 penalties. I don't think anomaly is the word.

Double digit penalties, 3 starting PRO BOWL offensive linemen out (2) of which are HOFER’s…shotty play calling. We wasted 2 full minutes in the red zone, that last drive. This was a total team loss, no finger pointing. They came unprepared & lost like an unprepared team.
Which is inexcusable for an NFL team. These guys get paid MILLIONS to be prepared for the next weeks game. To be looking past the Cardinals to the Patriots or 49ers is mind blowing. Every team is filled with elite athletes, who all want the same thing as everyone on the Cowboys roster; to win.

The Cowboys lost one game and people overreacting, way more than when they say "fans" only the media and Jerry feeding them who really be saying SuperBowl or Bust after week one. Every sports segment start off with Cowboys on either the extreme of winning or the extreme of being the worst team in the NFL. This is week 3 after devastating injuries to Tyron Smith, Zach Martin, Tyler Biadiasz, Safety Donaven Wilson and one of the most important players on the team and defense Trevon Diggs.

It's not just one loss though. Everything that went wrong was a collection of all of the problems the Cowboys had all last year. Weak play calling, poor clock management, Dak throwing a clutch interception, and the whole team playing down to a weak opponent.
Above all, this was a case of the team having a bad game, and failing to find a way to.dig down deep and find a way to win. This is a cultural problem that has beset the team for nearly three decades.
Cowboys fans keep talking about how it's their year, but they're never going to make it to the conference championship, much less the Superbowl; if they can or be the kind of team that can win games like yesterday's.

The only good thing that came out of this is that maybe our fan base will chill out. We were way to excited in week two. Nobody is questioning the coach as a source for the loss. McCarthy has a long reputation for conservatism in play calling. Even with Bret Favre and Aaron Rodgers he was a nervous nilly and opted for for the safest plays which the opposing teams had come expect and predict about him. It wasn’t just that he threw that interception in the end zone, it’s that any one of the three Cardinals defenders could have made the interception. It reminds me of the horrible decisions and throws he made in training camp that supposedly didn’t matter.
Dude the game was over. They took it out of his hands twice in the redzone after he got then there and ran the ball for 3 yards in 5 plays in the redzone. Try getting a groove and getting your team to the redzone. And the coach making you run over and over and going no where and saying hey dak can you get us a td now since we burned 3 min off the clock down by two scores.

Not one of these talk shows even mentions how many starting offensive linemen were actually playing in the game. I didn't watch the game, so correct me if I'm wrong but people were saying that several starters would not be playing. That has to have an effect on the offense, yet they put up over 400 yards, just not when it counted.

Take three starting o-line players out on any team in the league in the same game and see if there aren’t any offensive struggles. I like how this is not mentioned and dismissed as next man up. 3 at the same time and we wondering why there were offensive struggles. Now with that being said they did struggle last week as well with a healthy o-line and Dak can definitely make better decisions like not throwing into triple coverage. He should be able to see the field better by now and use your legs when nothing is available. I’m convinced they don’t want him to be mobile in fear of a big injury.
O line is huge, I saw game was on and tuned in. They said 3 o lineman are out and I was like that makes sense.

I’m a 49ers fan. I remember the catch and watching all the Super Bowl wins and all the big time Dallas Match Ups over the last 40 years. Dallas is still one of the best 3 teams in the NFC. Every Team can have days where they struggle. Dallas still going to win at least 11 games unless major injury bug hits the team. But like alway media going to paint it and use it for views for news cycle this week.

It’s simple Dallas dfence played otherworldly the first 2 weeks they struggled this week and the team looked horrible. What can they do when the defense plays good or ok?

It’s not that they don’t trust Dak it’s McCarthy’s style of play calling. He said before the season he wants to run the ball. I’m sure a little bit of the issue is minimizing turnovers and having ball control and time of possession as well. Red zone is definitely the issue. I saw this first 2 games just didn’t think it would show up so soon. Lots of season left though.
Crazy to think Cowboys went from first in redzone to bottom 3 so far this year…

Just my opinion that’s all but there’s always more to the storie. Play calling has definitely been conservative for sure.

Dak needs to be better. I’m a Cowboys fan not just Dak. It’s a team game. If he doesn’t go deep in playoffs this year I’m sure he will not get extended. Idc what we do during regular season as long as we make the playoffs and show progression. Time will tell.
