very funny, NONE of these 10 vids have anything to do with argentine tango! just show dance choreos with some "tango atmosphere" none of the professionals can dance tango because even a high skilled dancer needs years to master some tango moves. if you want to see some real masters, look for sebastian arce/ mariana montes
Any list with Zendaya I respect! There were honestly so many good argentine tangos throughout the years its hard to choose a top 10. Zendaya's and Lindsay/Mark are my two personal favorites. This is a solid 10 list.
I really enjoy when they dance real tango music, because tango is a culture and music is so important ... we really love to listen to a bandoneon while you dance, it is that instrument that makes you feel the song
Argentine Tango is one of my favorites dances, after watching JoJo and Jenna amazing performance last night, I had to check out the past performance on DWTS, which were amazing. Derek Hough, Cheryl Burke, Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy are some of my favorite dancers.
You don't have the dance Meryl Davis did with Maks brother Val. I cant remember but I think it was a switch thing where they partnered up with different pros. That dance with Val and Meryl I think is STILL the best one I have seen.
I 💜 Watching Cheryl Burke dance Period! But, seeing her & William Levy dance the Argentine Tango to "Buttons" by PCD (1 of my Favorite Female Groups) Was Awesome! Cheryl has the skills to make Any Dance Choreography Fit the music if you ask me, much like Derek & Julianne. Mark is almost that good. Jenna Johnson is, the Brothers are (Val & Maks).
I imagine you evaluate on flare and interest as far as your ranking goes. I strongly agree that Gilles deserves a high spot and was utterly underrated. If you go by technical quality though Meryl is way above and beyond all the rest of the competitors.
Gilles got screwed I think. Anytime a gymnastic is on the show I think it is a unfair advantage. No offense to Shawn Johnson but I thought Gilles should have won that year. I dont think it's fair when they have celebrities who had previous dancing experience. That Heather Morris was a background dancer for Beyonce! That was absolutely rediculous. I know its different doing ballroom dance but it is still an unfair advantage to someone who had NO dancing at all. As much as I loved Meryl and Maks, let's face it, she too had an advantage being a ice dancer. It should be celebritys with NO dance experience whatsoever!!!

I'm so glad Evan made one of these lists; he would have won his season if it hadn't been for that awful free dance Anna came up with, and if DWTS decides to do a season with the second place finishers I hope Evan is one of the stars chosen.
I would have put Derek and Nicole Scherzinger before either of the Derek dances you included. I like a diversified list so I wouldn't replace any of the others.
