I like to collect Canadian coins, they have some cool design. I have a couple of those bobcat 25c pieces; but never knew there is a variety, have to check them out. That's why I like your videos, it keeps me on my toes! Never too old to learn.Very informative 👍
Those coins were struck probably for a test, whit probably less than 10 struck. Its not the coin they would have let go in circulation, so its very unlikely you will find those piece whitout paying the price. Good luck !
@@Dollar-gc9in Your probably right, but there's still a possibility that some got into circulation like the silver planchets from 1976 that got mixed in with clad planchets for 1977. I probably will never find one, but you never know. Even a blind bird finds a worm once and a while. LOL
@@scottholliday9308 exactly ! But hey somme extremely rare (unique ?) canadian 1858 cent pattern were put into circulation ( in canada or in G.B ) so, who know !? Good luck !
Good evening Sean I just have to turn the tablet on and I come across you were doing there Canadian currency up here and I had a set of the Centennial set give to me from your birthday back in 1979 and I just happened to see you come up with a $4,500 permeate Lynx bobcat so thank you have a good evening
Just to be clear, Iccs did a mistake by calling it a Ms coin. Its a specimen coin, like all others 1967 quarter nickel pattern. Also the victoria north exemple is the less interesting of the 2 graded by Iccs in ms-64 ( small marks on the cameo devices )
Made my 1st canadian silver purchase this monday, only got $3 face since I wasnt sure on melt value, $9 to the dollar face is right at melt so I'll be buying alot more in the next couple months
I have been carrying this coin around with me for years. I think it belonged to my grandfather. Today, as I sit in a Cafe in Antigua Guatemala, it struck me to look it up if it had any worth (I brought it with me here for some reason) .... It is notably different in finish, it looks silver and feels a bit heavy. I wonder how I can get it appraised online while I'm living here.
I just found 2 Bobcats in a circulated roll(coin dump) one is milky, the other looks proof-like..... including 4 1973 Mounties.... unfortunately none of the Bobcats are magnetic, lol.

Nickel is magnetic, silver is not. Get a magnet and check.
It sticks to magnetic I've been clipped by family n their hiding fraud by stealing when I'm away
