I have tried on the watch today at an AD. In terms of width, it is smaller than it appears on the video and the strap is more shiny than it can be seen here. The hands therefor appear small. Although the sales representative said, that the leather strap would lose a part of the shine over time. The timepiece is very beautiful, looks very sophisticated and decent (in my opinion). MSRP in Germany is € 5‘800 for this steel version, which is still quite expensive in my view. I think it is fair to say, that a customer has a wide range of alternative dresswatches in that price range.
Probably not. It more than likely has a movement that is made by another watch company. As far as I know they use movements from the likes of Jlc and AP. They do use ETA movements as well as they are owned by Richemont. The whole inhouse movement thing has got out of hand with people looking down on watches for the stupidest of reasons.

I do not think there are that many dress watches at that price point. There are lots of casual well made watches but not dress watches.
@@bighands69I paid down on one today, awaiting delivery. I enjoy the sophisticated design and feel of the watch. It will be my first true dress watch.
Oh boy. What a beauty
Great looking watch!
May I know your wrist size?
Really nice but for 8k you can go the pre owned Reverso route.
What about the same with guilloche dial for 1,5€ from a very well established Swiss watchmaker? Check out the longines dolce vita 😉
People that buy those watches are not interested in Pre owned.
Reverso lacks the elegance
@@bighands69 Yes we are LOL
A bit disappointing it doesn’t have a clear showcase back
Just bear in mind that this is in Australian Dollars.
is it an in-house-movement?

They're in house movements, ignore the above.
classic look, but $8k on a mystery "automatic" movement wrapped in stainless and warrantied for only 2 years....?
@@mouhrissani8588 Sounds like you have no idea about Cartier's watchmaking history.
Cartier use JLC and AP movements in their high end watches.
And its 8 years of warranty
