Zangief is supper fun to watch on master level

Not really. Zangief is still cheesy. I can't stand characters that rely so heavily on grapples and/or throws. Bison is still my favorite character ever since he was playable.
And now zangief is actually pretty bad

After Snake Eyez domination with Gief in SFIV Capcom was like, nope, not in this game. Can't have an American showing us up for another 5 years. Itabashi showing that skill and reads can still overcome an underpowered character.
I was rooting for all the bison mains out there. I know exactly how he feels. Zangief is so damn hard in this game with Armor, they took his damn flaming hand but now he’s impossible to engage on unless you land counters. Making everyone need to learn to turtle. Shit is a nightmare for Cammy and Bison players ~ and anyone with no projectiles.
Fucking A... wish there was more tutorials on how to deal with gief as bison/akuma/sakura/ECT.... honestly as a bison player this feels soooooo free for gief

I think it's a solid 6-4 for Gief but with the right mindset and gameplan Bison can bring it to 5-5 I think, [same with Boxer although people fight me on that one lmao].

I'm sure Capcom is super happy they go through all the trouble of naming the entire moveset different things. EX Swirly and Flippy Do are so much better imo...lol.

Boy this was the slowest match I’ve ever seen. Good game, tho.
I quit Street fighter a while back but watch a lot of these matches. 5 looks simple and a lot less dynamic than 4. Is that the case or do I just not know what I’m watching?

mike kue Im not a SF player myself. But as an outsider, I constantly see comeback factors. Maybe they can add a character stamina mechanic for each character where they can reduce the damage of a combo at the cost of meter (only usable once every round for each character). 10% reduction for 1 bar, 2 bars 15%, and 3 bars 20%? Maybe that can be a defensive option they can implement to slow down some offensive play maybe?
Bison gets Psycho Crusher as an alt VTrigger. If its as safe as ex Psycho was back in the day, maybe he will have some ways to escape.

are you serious? that match was probably one of the best SF5 matches without any good projectiles (i dont count Bison's) with heavy footsie and two different types of pressure and style. im glad both characters got buffed from SF4.
