- DPG Advisory Solutions David Gazard says the next federal election “will be a referendum” on nuclear energy for Australia.
Opposition leader Peter Dutton announced the Coalition’s nuclear plan at a media event on Wednesday.
Mr Gazard told Sky News Australia that there is going to be the “mother of all scare campaigns” used to oppose nuclear energy.
As a lifelong Labor voter i say thankyou to Peter Dutton. Once again he and David Littleproud have managed to kick themselves in the nuts.
🤣
YES to coal, Yes to nuclear. NO to bird choppers. NO to bird fryers
I like windmills.
I just don't want to rely on them for power when I'm having open heart surgery
@@_TheBreaker_ That may be the least of your problems. Dazelle passed away recently because they wouldn't operate unless she had 4 jabs of the safe and effective.
No to thinking. No. No. No. Yes to Sky News, Murdoch's transnational propaganda machine. Yes, Sir!
Yep!
Vote for the LNP and what works.
Or be an ignorant, sanctimonious idealist and vote Labor! 😎
Time to grow up, Australia.
WITH RESPECT .. IF THERE IS REALLY A CLIMATE CRISIS, WHY DO THE LIBLAB FRAUDS STILL EXPORT 'DEADLY' COAL TO THE WORLD'S BIGGEST CO2 EMITTER ?
I PUT IT TO YOU THAT THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS & COAL IS ABSOLUTELY KING. (ORGANIC) COAL IS FOSSILIZED SUNLIGHT THAT RELEASES PLANT FOOD WHEN ITS BURNT.
Renewable not nuclear. Only way ahead. Greens 100% correct.😂
Squealer is projecting again.
@@leonharrison800 After everything that has been uncovered about ruinables, it's AMAZING people like you STILL have no clue about energy.
@@leonharrison800 The Problem with renewables is you HAVE TO KEEP RENEWING THEM.
Renewables life span was originally touted as 25 years, now 10 years or less.
Nuclear keeps on keeping on. Plutonium-238 has a half-life of 87.7 years
How much is this nuclear plan going to cost the taxpayer? Dutton refuses to say. What does that tell you?
It tells me that you only care about costs when it's someone else's plan because you're a hypocrite 😊
Lol that your job could be on the chopping block Jax.
Both replies show the mental standards of the uneducated.
They have no idea, just a pipe dream. 😊
It tells me that the ALP and LNP can't be trusted.
It will be a referendum on the voice, immigration and law and order
I don't trust enough people will be informed well enough to know what the main points of contention are in this election. Be it nuclear transition or any other talking points. I expect it will be yet another half blind popularity contest. The nucler question may play a factor in, possibly, less than a third of votes. The rest will be voting with a different part of the brain altogether.
Yes the irrational part, the one close to the amygdala wear emotional memories and fear resides. Labor seem to have hijacked that part of people's minds. Facts, science, technology, have all been abandoned in favour of unachievable ideals which make us feel good. The fact that we can't pay our bills or businesses are going bankrupt seems irrelevant. As long as we feel good about some "junk science" then all is well in the land down under...
I agree, the issue of nuclear will be obscured by many other issues, and the LNP will take the overall vote of confidence as a mandate for nuclear. It is really deceitful. If they were honest, they’d debate it robustly in parliament with all the cards on the table.
This referendum the Voices will say YES!
Vote No to the non viable renewables plan and maybe let some sanity prevail.
The question here that must be addressed "is nuclear power racist". Will trans people be employed in the industry .
dumbass
And do a referendum to legalise marijuana too.. hurry the F up
You can tell albo is worried he’s now talking makarata treaty trying to get future activists votes his way
The trouble is the activist are a minority of crickets
Albo will pass the voice next year because it's the right thing to do, chyna will do more trade with us then, the u,s is not a good trade partner
@@HellHound.933 yeah he is doing OK with the majority of Australians, next year they will vote yes to voice and treaty, it's the right thing to do, righteousness always win in the end child 😉
@@aaronfranklin6863if there is another referendum, it will be same result as last year ,YES- 40% to NO 60%.
@@HellHound.933 fake news brah
Anyone who wants my vote needs to answer to the following:
- will the spike in mortality rates since 2020 be addressed?
- why are we following UN agenda? Albo said we are a sovereign country, but a lot of councils are on board with 15 minute cities.
- will the ABC’ reporting on Russia winning in Ukraine be addressed ?
- a whole lot more questions, but the ones above are big ones in my book.
Are you expecting alb to pass away.
@TheRealDominicPelle I never would have thought you'd call the ABC conspiracy theorists, Pelle, but first time for everything!
We can't even make cars anymore. We have never built a nuclear power station
Time to get off your bums and start then, Shaun!
It will be contracted out - imagine the kickbacks for the polies from that!
Time to start learning then.
Where are you going to put the radioactive nuclear waste Mr Dutton?
The same place where the waste from the existing nuclear plant in Sydney goes
In the desert, Mr. Mason.
It was going to be stored in Kimba, where 60% of residents approved of the site. But due to lack of "aboriginal consultation" was rejected. ie Labor party changed it.
Melbourne city would be great starting point. To dump nuclear waste as its already a toxic sessss pool.
Deep geological repository.
The Finns have a facility where they store waste, the facility is called Onkalo.
Build something like that and you have the solution. That or you can keep the small amount of waste on sites in massive casks that are basically indestructible.
Waste today from reactor facilities aren't that much of a problem these days.
A what-dum???
So our country's current lack of (and by all reports earlier today) industrial diversity and diminishing engineering skillset has got nothing to do with it??
Seriously??
People will agree to anything once load shedding becomes the norm.
Or Maybe A Referendum On The WEF And Being In Partnership With Them. 😈
Who is that fool Eammon!
NATO out of the Pacific
Contest of ideas where one side has aspirations whilst the other have measurable outcomes.
Yeah! Labor the former and LNP the latter. Correct.
That's right. Labor the former and LNP the latter.
Lol that failed referendum certainly measured something hey Jax?
Hey, FH. We're talking to you 😊 You wanted to engage us?
@@Lucifer-c4g 'Pulling different levers' is not policy. Will leave you to work out who said that.
Good. A second term Labor government locked in.
WHY DOES THE ALP (AUSTRALIA LOSES PARTY) STILL EXPORT 'DEADLY' COAL TO THE WORLD'S BIGGEST CO2 EMITTER ? ..WHILE THEY PREACH "CLIMATE CRISIS" ?
Wrong again.
Not really looking that way dude.
Cool, you can be a miserable whinger for that term, too. Wanker.
Many younger people are fine with nuclear…all I hear against it are people who are over 55
We'll be voting for One Nation 🇦🇺
