To be fair to Dan, the one whose saying they are looking into trading for Horn. He didn't say they was but Brad was looking into it and he didn't say they were trading the 29 pick, he's speculating the 29th pick because he is a good CB but I don't think he was aware of the injury history. He apparently has some connection inside as a former reporter. So, all he's saying for sure that he's heard they are looking into a trade but he doesn't know what pick they are trading for, I mean, he could be looking into trading Walker in a package trade. I'm not really trying to defend him, I'm just saying what he said. I don't think Brad would trade a 1st round pick but I could see Brad trying to get a guy like Horn at the right price.hes a good CB but injuries are a problem

Im not a PFF hater but its hard to take this draft sim seriously when McCarthy is projected in the 40s. He almost certain to go in rd1 and probably in the top 16.
Its hard to understand BPA and who's available for needs at the same time, but if you listened this 1st mock was based on who fell and no trades and only BPA

The Lions need a number three Quarterback to develop. If JJ McCarthy is available, why not pick him. It is doubtful he will still be on the board, but would that not be a dream QB room?
This will be Frank Ragnow's last season. He's just too beat up and the Lions will be lucky if he makes it through this year. They'll draft his replacement...Graham Barton or Jackson Powers-Johnson. One of them will start on on either side of Frank.. Flip a coin...they're equally special. Brad will choose to prioritize preserving the strength of the team and have his choice of the best center in the draft.
I love Goff but I have a feeling they will trade him for better positioning in the first round Denver Atlanta Seattle “ and then that gives them space to get back up to Hendon edge rusher in free agents and you might even be able to get Jaylen Johnson too
