Joe, I am a long time believer that promoting the Trunk Injection process is exactly what made things like EAB, and Oak Wilt worse than they would have been. A simple Basal trunk application would be more cost effective, and would lead to more trees being treated. Which would have left us with a higher survival rate. You guys did "some" of the science and none of the math... I like everyone I've ever met at AJ, and you seem like a nice guy also, but you're on the wrong road... No one has bothered to speak against Injections because they work from a business perspective, and thats not good enough... they do damage the cambium tissue, so its a trade off, and not a good one for the Tree.
