I used predator Slams yesterday and destroyed every Fireteam. And its very strong if you use the slam attack at Fireteam Reinforcement spots. They respawn and then slam Attack :)
Oh and btw guys the aoe works through the ceiling. If a Fireteam camp in a house then do slam attack on the Roof.

And if a ft member is camping in a building then use the combi stick and it goes throu walls I tried and works

The slam doesnt check for line of sight with the fireteam, which means you can slam on a roof or outside a wall and deal damage to the people inside without them being able to do anything to punish you

@@cristophetlopex plasma caster????? It ain't hard to flesh people out, just play the long game. And dont say some angles are unreachable because that's bullshit 😂 I've found a way. And just think of the muti objs inside buildings, or them having to heal, it's a bs exploit regardless of it being intentional (which nobody knows as of yet).

If you shoot predator in mid air while he is leaping you cancel his leap slam so its not op as long as you are good shooter
Debatable as to it always cancelling out the leap

It's one of the few ways to break up a team that sticks together very well which is a predator worst nightmare
If you spam the leap button after you slam it will let you slide away as you finish the slam animation allowing you to stay mobile making this build even more effective

I'd just say fix the clipping through buildings. Hasn't happend yet to me but alot of scrubbies are abusing it rn which ain't good. This community is weird instead of getting better and not complaining about everything they dont understand, they'd rather cheese 😂🤦♂️.
@@king_kappa5263 Alot of them don't seem to understand that the Predator isn't an invincible killer like DBD or FT13. He has to be played with skill and hit and run tactics, yet a lot of players seem to just want to run in and kill. I think the Illfonic team might be too hasty in there nerfs and buffs before players get used to it.

@@king_kappa5263 I think the slam bypassing cover is intentional since the Pred has few options for flushing out Turtle teams that just sit in a one doorway building and just try to body block over playing the objective.
@@Okatago it shouldn't work like that setting traps and using the plasma caster works good enough. No reason a slam should hit you through a steel wall or roof its dumb and pointless to have regardless. They usually only huddle if theres only two so you could just rush in.
*You should combinate slam with other attacks, cause if you spam 1 things, people adapts to it faster*
Combining that slam strategy with net gun & more aggresive bow attacks could be very deadly.

@@blackice8043 It aint noob though, things like the bow and and traps should be buffed and let the predator play how the predator is supposed to be not just running in slamming with Combizerker, that shit just aint fun when you eliminate the fireteam in 2 minutes. I like the game but big changes need to be implemented to be really fun.

No, it is not a ground wave. It is a radial explosion, goes in all directions from point of impact, like a spherical shape. Look at 8:12

The only part I hate about the slams is the fact that it goes through surfaces. I could counter it easily but it’s broken with that. Other than that I have no complaints

You inspired me do my own version of a tutorial for this game man, I originally lost interest in the game after unlocking everything in a day, but seeing all your builds made me experiment a bit.
Essentially how to 1v1 a berserker predator as a scout.
All you need is extra damage to predator perk, extra melee damage perk and double time.
I called it prison rules lmao.
It involves a lot of sprinting after a predator with a knife and stabbing it in the butt. It's actually pretty effective.

It is fun watching you demolish a fire team. I don’t see many consistent good fireteams any more. As soon as the team has a downed player, one person takes off running for their life. They are pretty good about getting reinforcements but I see this more often than not. Don’t they know they aren’t really dying? 😂

Does using net gun and bear traps still give you the achievement, traditionalist? Or can you strictly only use wrist blades and nothing else.
Yes net gun and bear trap still gave me the trophy in private matches.A lso for the wrist blade trophy you gotta down ALL the fireteam members(only wrist blades) until you see the white skull then you can insta kill them with the wrist blade. Remember to equip your wrist blades before you start attacking and don't claim since the trophy bugs out a bit. Thank me later

Slam is bugged atm too apparently and is broken as fuck lol u can hit the Leap button as soon as u land and cancel the animation that slows u..Also I was curious tho does Slam do the same amount of dmg no matter how much energy u have full vs little?

Bro I had this predator just slam after slams every 10 seconds on my team and we went through all our heals within a minute of him finding us at the start and every slam put me on 1hp it was so toxic there was literally nothing we could do
You can shoot him out of slam mid-leap. If you put enough damage on him while he is trying to slam you, it cancels the slam.

Unless your 100% accurate with it it's not op. If you miss then the ft gets like 1 or 2 seconds to pump your ass full of lead while you just stand there. Against a good ft it's not op

No, it's not work the perk slot imo, use the faster regen and battery cell and light bender, also hide your laser until your fully charged and about to shoot it works a lot better if your good with it

I pratectly only play predator and i think this needs a nerf what they should buff is his invisibility only to the point were you can crouch in complete stealth
Stand still and you're invisible. Try leaping to a position of interest and planning ahead.

@@JohnnyHeracles Gotcha, but that isn't really fair especially when you can cloak indefinitely. I notice a lot of people have a harder time locating me when moving slowly on the ground at a distance. Hide in the shrubberries lol
Does using a melee weapon increase the slams radius or damage? If having a melee weapon does make a diffrence is there a diffrence between each weapon? I am pretty sure there is a diffrence between recovery times. You do not recover as fast with the Combi stick I do not think. I am curious if the war club works better.
I tested this with different classes of Predator on scout assault and support. It does the SAME Damage (minus perks) and it was tremendous. However using a Combi, sword, or club only changes the recovery animation and does indeed seem like the slowest is Combi. The club gets stuck in the ground really cool looking but also slower.

The slam is by far the most OP weapon the predator has and it’s the one thing FT’s haven’t complained about yet 😂😂😂
The slam is pretty situational from my experience of fireteams and is hard to land when they're properly spaced. I wouldn't say op just good but the though wall shit needs to be fixed. Plus it's free damage for woke fireteams 😎.
its a terrible move for Pred. you can shoot him out of it. two players shud always keep eyes up for pred while other two focus on objective. stay 10-20 meters apart and adjust distances based on predator style.
