Just a heads up for anyone: when you design a turbocharged car that is performance based. You need to make as much power as possible AND have the power come-on as low-rpm as you can do without loosing power. This guy basicly made a na car...
I'm glad you and twinturbros are collaborating a little bit, you both have a ton of potential to grow and both have great content and great personality.
At 16:10 you wonder what the hell is going on with acceleration. That's your engine making power only at the very top. Peak power output is useless. Please PLEASE learn how to make the turbos work.
I have also made an Automation Gingium inspired Rally Miata. For mine, I went with an 4.0 N/A boxer 6 revving to 12k with 590hp/350ish lb/ft. I found that fitting much thinner tyres than the game suggests and setting the suspension to sport preset and raising the ride height and also turning off traction control in game seems to help a lot! The wider tyres and too much traction will result in constant rollovers.
Not sure if you made the video after he realized the dyno numbers but you matched the power exactly I think and the massive turbo lag is what his car has so surprisingly accurate 😂
My 2000 Subaru Forester has a 2.5 liter Ej253 with SOHC, I recently put a Cherry Bomb straight through muffler and it sounds great! Still running good going on 204,000 miles
Porsche should've made the EA266 and they should've made more of the 914/8 (also 914/S) since that was cool. The EA266 had two trunks and an inline 4 sat flat underneath the rear seats. The 914/8 was a regular 914 that had their prototype flat 8 installed instead of their normal flat 4 or the 914-6 GT's flat 6. Edit: And the Porsche Tapiro concept car had a flat 6. Should've gotten the glorious flat 8. Killrob needs to get flat 8s into the game, and inline 8s. Fun Fact: Subaru made a flat 12, the Motori Moderni Subaru Coloni F1 car (ignore that it didn't qualify). Think on that for a moment. Oh, and lets not forget the Ferrari Testarossa was a 180 degree 12 cylinder, a flat 12, if you will.
I enjoyed the music, but I think it should only play during the automation part, so that in the BeamNG section of the video you could hear the car better. I think that would provide a better sound atmosphere.
The thing that added weight, is the hard-top convertible body. A convertible is heavier than a standard body, a hard-top is heavier still. It's all that extra structural reinforcement necessary due to the lack of structural support from the roof, and the hard top adds the weight of the roof on top of that.
Typically (for 2000's subarus) you'd have DOHC, single 39-42mm turbo, and active valve timing on exhaust and intake. Over-square pistons. Automation doesn't let you single turbo, but going smaller is actually much better as it let's them spool up waaay quicker, making power far more accessible.
Hey chief, the music is a nice addition, but in my opinion it would maybe be best for the garage only? Its pretty nice hearing the engine notes and stuff when you're driving. Anyway keep it up!
I really like this build! Keep going bro! I would love to see a final video before the event at the end where you go trough all the cars you have build and correct small problems that you want to correct, because after that, cars will never ever be tutched again, so why not leave them perfect?
Please don’t take offense to this but I love watching your videos when I try to sleep, it’s interesting but also calming and gives me something to listen to when I finally fall asleep.
I'm sorry but that engine is comically bad, almost as bad as that first attempt at a rally engine :D Ironically this makes this car the opposite of the first one which had a good engine in the V16, but dreadful gearing and too much weight. Makes for very entertaining videos!
although i like the music, it feels a bit loud, but that could be because you are a bit on the quiet side, not that thats a bad thing, but maybe have the music be a touch quieter
Adjusting the quality slider for safety has a huge impact on the weight! in 2020 the minimum safety rating is 35, you can go with whatever safety you want and then drop the quality til safety is just above 35 t save a ton of weight. You also lose weight by lowering quality when you have none as your safety option.
Most overfender's especially on the good looking ones exaggerate the natural body-lines to add character. No offense but you made cheap ebay flares, when you had the opportunity to go pandem or liberty walk.
Usable peak power on this engine estimates around 240 hp. What's the point of making engines like this? Peak torque at 6600 rpm, redline at 7100. I'm sorry, dude, I like your videos, but why won't you just learn? People have told you in the comments countless of times how to make forced induction engines.
Pleaaaaaase stop starting with a turbo. You should start N/A with lowest comp possible. Put your ignition at 90, Max size the headers for the turbo, get the cam as good as possible to dial in a good base torque figure. Then you go to your turbo and tune that. It's an easy mistake to make but it stems from the fact that the turbo has to have a good and flat-ish torque graph to start with and then you can dial in a great top end with that turbo.
@@faithliss1165 Well the Miata RF is about 50 kilos heavier than the soft top convertible. So it definitely adds weight, and honestly I'm surprised Mazda managed to keep the difference this low
@@faithliss1165 It's not the games "fault". It's the games intent. Because that's how it should be. He replaced a small V16 with a similarly sized boxer 4 and added a hard top. Of course the car is gonna be heavier. Nobody is at fault. Unless someone really expected this to be a lighter vehicle
Gingium called, he wants his car back.
I was about say the same thing lol
Just a heads up for anyone: when you design a turbocharged car that is performance based. You need to make as much power as possible AND have the power come-on as low-rpm as you can do without loosing power. This guy basicly made a na car...
HAHA 2J POWER GRAPH GO BRRRR TURBO KICK IN AT 5K
Miata is always the answer
Especially with 4 wheel drive :D
I like them rwd nice and slidie
Hey Rye.
M.I.A.T.A: This comment
Hey you should try to go for DOHC for modern cars most of the time, is the most common configuration today
Nearly at 30k!
Congrats on (almosed) 30k! But you deserve sooo many more! Your channel is too underrated.
Congratulations! You deserve it! Crossing my fingers.
Congrats Flux!!! Highly deserved
so glad i joined this channel about a year ago
could you do a 400 horsepower slammed van
You need softer rear to make the back plant on throttle in corners and you need softer ARBs to take advantage of the suspension travel.
WHO ELSE HERE IS A GINGIUM FAN? 😍
I was thinking the same thing
Me I guess
Me
Gingium _and_ TwinTurBros fan here, yes.
Me bro watched the all the vids
After a while, that music became really quite grating.
Yeah and I think the voice level needs to either be higher or the background music lower
Wow im loving the music in the background! It makes the video more immersive, but you should lower it just a touch🤏🏼
I'm glad you and twinturbros are collaborating a little bit, you both have a ton of potential to grow and both have great content and great personality.
Make the turbine wheel smaller that should shift the point at which the turbo spoils down
27:54 He pulled a Fujiwara. He did a mini-gutter-run. NANI
Oh shit

This car has got three names: Miata, Roadster and MX-5
Just in case you didn't know about it! ;)

The sti engine name is EJ25 and the new wrx engine name is FA20
My favorite automation youtuber
Sadly u died

I think you did well the gingium rally Miata makes almost 400hp nice job hope to see more real life inspired cars like this

i was not disappointed watching this

The front end reminds me of the Subaru BRZ
I felt like the music was kinda out of place in that video^^ good content tho as usual 😊
There is a round paintable fixture right next to the keyhole. You can make rivets with it.
With just the dots, it looks really good
I like the background music. Good content. Keep it up!
Honestly, this would fit the bill of a luxury Miata better than that of a rally Miata.
Those fenders looked good
was...
was it supposed to be a rally-type build on *semi-slicks?*
Caleb is going Mr. Woldwide-ium.
Looks good just less rivets.
LETS GET HIM TO THE BIG 30K!!!!!!!! BTW awesome video, boxer-brap stu stu stu
This car power band is Jimmy Broadbent's Miata with a turbo 4cyl, coincidence, I think not
Current WRC car engine is 1.6 liter inline 4 turbo generating 380hp. Just let you know.
I'm sorry but that engine is comically bad, almost as bad as that first attempt at a rally engine :D

🤣
Rally cars aren't as high as everyone thinks. It depends on the rally, but the height is obnoxiously high imo.
The back reminds me of a Ford racing puma
I have a twin turbo legacy b4 and the turbos are in the back on my car too
You should also do a light campaign 4.0 as it's about release, I would love to see you do a sport car company!
Hey i face a problem that when i export a car at beamng it doesnt have sound, do you know why is that happening
14:00 every automation player ever 😆
You have built a pretty accurate replica of Murtaya kitcar.
I think you should change the tyre compound from semi slicks
Any inspiration from gingium lol where he has an actual wrx powered AWD miata
I like the "bolt on" fenders but that engine is horrible. Tweak it to get the torque peak as low in the RPM range as possible.
although i like the music, it feels a bit loud, but that could be because you are a bit on the quiet side, not that thats a bad thing, but maybe have the music be a touch quieter
How do you duplicate fixtures?
Kinda like an NC Rally Miata
Very good coupe suv

rally car with semi slicks
That car of the day though, wow. A Bugo supercar? How much horsepower, 64?
205
Nice.
*Gingium likes to know your location*
B O X E R 8
Nice
Rollbar are way too stiff for the dampers, you can see the suspension oscillating in turns.
From the back it looks like the old Tesla roadster
They need rotary engines in automation
Is it odd to want a boxer-10 added to this game?
we need an electric motor update
Most overfender's especially on the good looking ones exaggerate the natural body-lines to add character. No offense but you made cheap ebay flares, when you had the opportunity to go pandem or liberty walk.
The ride height is absurd
100% Gingium inspired
I have a miata with a boxer in it :)
What the backing track called?
as a subaru driver i feel baited
Make a miata except its not a miata woooaaahhh
If Subaru made a Miata. (yes I'm already aware the BRZ exists, people)
BuT tHe BrZ eXiStS
what about googling bore and stroke of EJ ?
oh wait seems like insane idea don't mind me
Because I wasn't trying to make an actual EJ, just similar
Your car is so much heavier because it is hard top convertible. If you chose coupe body it would be lighter.
Shout-out gingium
Gingiuummmm
GINGIUM?!?!??!+
why is ball bearing turbos supposedly better? arent all the amazing turbos oiled journal bearings? arent they way more efficient than ball bearings?
Please lower music volume next video
You gave it a New York plate so it needs a front plate or it’s illegal
If the car is knocking at less than 1% it will say 0%. So like 0.01% 0.67% 0.99% etc. Etc.
this is what the FRS and BRZ would have been if Subaru had full controll

EarLY sQuaD!!!!!
400 horsepower low race van
u made a brz
Hello
Automation add boxer 16s
I literally just did a boxer 4 miata
Boxer 16 pls automation add it lmfao
I waited the whole video for you to use chunky offroad tired, but you didn't. Now I'm sad :(
Gingium vives
Same colour and everything
Make Mercedes G class
This looks like the Mud Type Jag...
