You are not alone. :) I'm Wolastoqiyik, and I too am a follower of Jesus. He has been a guiding light in my life. I also carry on with many traditional things, using that as a way to worship the mighty Creator. I'm so glad to see others who believe in similar ways as myself. Creator bless you and have a great day.

WOW! I COULDN'T AGREE MORE! I HAVE ALLOWED RELIGION TO STEAL MY GOD GIVEN PASSIONS, INTERESTS AND DESIRES. The creator God knows and loves who we are culture and all! You are such and inspiration! Keep dancing, drumming and singing unto Jesus brother! God soooo loves the native people and will redeem the wounds of the past! He is a healer of all healers!

My grandmother was Cherokee and I have always had this song of worship within me. They are the sounds, like the songs in this video. I have found a freedom to worship in a different way now. What is right with my soul. I can chant these amazing sounds and in this, I find myself being lifted to a place that is right for me. To worship God as He has created ME to be. It may not be the way for everyone, but I believe that God wants 'individual and unique' worship from each individual soul. We should never mimic anyone else when we worship our Creator. We should lose our inhibitions and just find our center. And from there; Go ahead and worship freely. We were all created for only one reason; to worship our creator and love Him, for He is worthy of this emotion. Praise be to the creator of the universe and all that is.

Do not be discouraged as there are many that share your faith and beliefs. Walk in Yeshuaʻs blessing and donʻt look back. The enemy wants to remind us of where we came from but we have been delivered from that place. Press on to the blessing that you are promised and choose joy no matter the obstacle. Listen for the Fatherʻs voice and rejoice always. Blessings...your brother

my sister in Christ, i have somewhat wrestled against the same thing as i have recently started learning the language of my ancestors (Nahuatl) and have been getting into native american music in general but dont want to be unknowingly singing along to worship false gods. if i may just suggest to you two other songs that are sung to Christ in indigenous languages
both on youtube. "AMAZING GRACE IN CHEROKEE - NATIVE AMERICAN" and "CANTO CRISTIANO NAHUATL"

Osiyo, danitaga. I have been laughed at when I said the Tsalagi knew the name of the Father 3,500 years ago. When I told them to look up the Kit'Yowah people, they had nothing else to say. :) Shalom aleikhem, achi. Wado.

***** Understand. Have no problem with the name Jesus either. A lot of it is parsing and semantics and personal preference. Reason I wanted you to look at his page was just for the Hebrew relics and the History. It enforces my testimony sometimes. I'm around a lot of Native Americans.

Our view is that we and everything around us are connected. To think that the Creator would be an outside entity doesn't make sense. Where does the wind come from, what is the primal force? Where did it begin? The truth is that we are all connected, everything and everybody. When we decide to listen to the voice that speaks through creation we are hearing from God.

pray my sister and be led of the Holy Spirit. I have recently become enamored with the native american culture as it relates to the african slaves. Ive been looking up a lot of history on black indians, the assimilation of africans into the native american culture. We were often refugees in search of freedom and and found santuary with many native american tribes. But like I said pray and trust the spirit of God to lead you and anythng that doesnt agree with your spirit leave it alone.

Just be careful not to worship creation instead of Creator, as The New Age is doing lately as they go to UNIVERSAL Church. There is no "Mother Earth" We have One Father who through His Seed Gave us life, Bles His Name forever.

I'm not a native people, but I LOVE the native heart and the native people. God bless you brother. God/Jesus created you for himself, not people, not a religion, not a church. God created you, loves you, and he's the one who ordained you to be who he said you to be. If you don't be who God created you to be we all lose the beauty of his creation. We all are blessed by the native peoples gifts from God/Jesus. Bless you

one thing that is true though: all men were created equal. There r just some of us who r stronger in some things and those who r weaker. Everyone has the same GOD. He just looks different to some. And each individual has his/her own relationship with our GOD. Because no 2 people r the same. This is my belief.

Mother earth - The earth gave birth to us and all life
Father sun - Without the sun the earth would not have been created
Brother moon - The moon was once a part of the earth

Im sad and somewhat embarassed 2 say that know of Cherokee roots on my Father's side, but Im not sure the tribe. I believe that America has locked many people away from their heritage and culture so people like me, who were born in christian upbringings do not know enough 2 fully decide or know who they r or where they come from. on my mothers side my great grandmother had a native american grandmother but that is all i know:( But what I believe is everything that is written is not the TRUTH...

the real god of the universe , the eternally existent one , goes by gods words , not words of man and specific cultural religions . the bible was intended to be the word of a general god , not to include specific cultural manmade doctrines and dogmas . believe in a general god with general moral , ethical codes and rules . Any body , no matter what culture they are part of , can . The ancient israelites did , and so do these natives as we can see .

see worship is supremacy... respect is the act of partaking in the dance of creation... water is sacred .... worship did not bring about that view respect did...
360 points of view now in respect you see all views and walk.. repeat in each step...
its not king worship scams... work for the king and know one else..selfishness

  • @ZorroIsGod1

True Christian Orthodox Faith adopts any good traditions, and cultures in nation how recognize Jesus Christ as there Savior. So, the Roman-Catholic church do not do it, they want from all nations and people to recognize the pop for savior not the Jesus Christ. The Roman-Catholic church created Ecumenism to make pop the new sinless savior. But only Jesus Christ was sinless, every other human being is sinfully. Only right faith is Orthodox why because
1)Orthodox Christianity is the True Biblical Faith having the Right Interpretations of Scripture(ORTHA_DOXA meaning “Right Doctrine”) given to us by the Early Church Fathers before 400 Ad, when the Christian Church was One/Single and United!
2)Orthodox Christianity has preserved the spiritual practices in the earliest Christian communities or churches.
3)Orthodox Christianity is Democratic and Autocephalous and like the Seven Holy Churches mentioned in the Book of Revelations. There is no earthly “Vicar of Christ” or Emperor who rules our Church.
4)Orthodox Christianity was not Tool of Empire of Colonialism. We do not believe in Forced Conversions.
    5) Orthodox Christianity is in semblance with local cultures.
6)Orthodox Christians are Patriots and Freedom Lovers.
7)Orthodox Christianity is Wholistic and Therapeutic in Nature.
8)Orthodox Christianity is a Way of Life.
9)Orthodox Christianity is Unchanging and the Same in all ages.
    10) Praise The Lord
We have law about Latin-heresy (Roman-Catholic church) -
    6 About Latin heresy:
And for the Latin heresy, how addressed Christians in azimstvo to return
back to Christianity, if found who is not restored in
Christianity, to punish as written in the law of the holy fathers.
