I don’t remember who but someone taught me the ñ is like when we say onion and that made total sense to my brain!

I would love a video on how Spaniards pronounce their /s/, which I can only describe has a s+sh sound. I can hear it but it's really hard to do, and I have only heard it in Spain.

Can't thank you enough for your videos Patry..I'm learning Spanish through Duolingo alone and your videos add that human element I need. After one year now I think its time I looked at doing actual lessons. But thank you very much, loved this one and the numbers video was awesome.

    Hola!
I started watching your videos after you came by on my tik tok and I have to say it is so much fun! I was ready learning spanish on duolingo but your videos help so much more! I hope I can use the lessons because in 5 days I am going to Spain(Calpe). I do have one question... how do I pronounce my name in spanish? My name is Myronne it is dutch and I am so curious what it would be in spanish... can you help me?
    Gracias!

Hola! Muchas gracias! Thank you so much for your kind comments! I am super happy you are finding them useful! Your name would not really be translated, I would probably pronounce it /meerohneh/ but please if you’d like to pronounce it the way you would in Dutch, go ahead! We love learning! 😊 have the best time in Calpe, it is beautiful over there!

Help I am confused you say the Spanish do not pronounce the letter H but before your lesson an advert for H10 hotels came on, would it be right to say (PHON) Achay-Dee-eth Otels? Also H20 how would you say that? Achay, dos, cero? Gracias

Hey, paraguas don't have any "diftongo" only words that require pronounce de "u" but in front of "e" and "i" like: "agüero" or "pedigüeño" or "pingüino"
