We all have gone to "Tripidiction", that is addicted to trips. Hence and new monsoon weekend has pushed us from Mumbai to Igatpuri. This was a family trip to Igatpuri, where we wanted to spend some time with nature. On the way we have covered road conditions to Nashik and also covered breakfast halt in Mumbai Nashik highway / breakfast halt in Mumbai Igatpuri highway.
This was first five member trip in Slavia with full luggage and bad roads. Igatpuri in monsoon is really different. We decided to stay in "Mountain n Lake" resort. So, we have covered roads to Mountain n Lake resort, Igatpuri.
If you are coming to this resort, "Mountain n Lake' from Pune, Mumbai or Nashik. You have to take the last patch, which is difficult but ealisy doable in any car hatchback / sedan / SUV.

Are there any hilly roads?
Yes, multiple patches of uphills on the way, including the famous Kasara ghat. We covered an extent of it in this video !!
Were the rear seat passengers happy? :) Thinking of Slavia but concerned about rear seat comfort for 3 on long drives.
No, the rear seat is meant for 2. Unfortunately in any of the 5 seater cars, 3 at back is never happy. Additionally slavia - Seats are bucketed, which is good for 2. The third person on the middle pushes both the left and right person outward and they have to go out of the bucket.
@@Travidiction Yes. Basically no rear seat comfort in 12-22 lac cars. Either go below (flat, bench seats) or go bigger (XUV, Harrier etc.). That’s problematic.
@@ganeshkulkarni true !!! And for bigger cars also, you need to depend on 3rd row, which again is not comfortable

It was approx 13 kmpl for this journey, which was 95% highway and mix of some traffic and bad patch
