I was born in Norway, but am British. I've been absorbing all of these lovely videos after watching The King's Choice. Been feeling a longing to visit Norway and learn your language for a few years now.
King Olav V was the last living grandchild of King Edward VII. His mother Queen Maud was Edward VII youngest daughter. Our current King Harald V was Queen Elizabeth II second cousin.
Olav V fut un Roi très proche de son peuple, si bien que les Norvégiens ne trouvaient rien à redire. Dans cette vidéo on a un Roi souriant, accomplissant ses devoirs avec sérieux et qui aimait la vie. Une seule ombre à ce beau tableau, fut la disparition de celle qui était l'amour de sa vie : la Princesse Martha de Suède (et qui aurait fait une excellente Reine de Norvège). Sous le règne du Roi Olav, la Norvège (comme le Luxembourg que j'affectionne en particulier) fut un pays prospère et dynamique. Paix à son âme.
@@ruralor Go to the three dashes up in the left corner on TH-cam. Choose "My Videos", or "Your Videos", or whatever it says. Click the thumbnail to the video you want to add subtitles to, and then choose subtitles. From there it should be clear how to do it.
@@ChristianRingdal Yes. But I will have to listen and write down everything myself then, and that takes more work, effort and time than I am willing to put into it. TH-cam does have an option to autogenerate subtitles, but apparently it doesn't work for Norwegian.
@@ruralor Yes, I know. You can, however, make it so that viewers can add subtitles for you. (If someone bothers) I've done it myself on other people's videos
