That is a lovely car Gaby. I agree, there is no need for heated seats or heated steering wheel etc. However, what is an absolute MUST is a heated windscreen to thaw the ice off. Ignore Tim, I agree with you, it is ALWAYS nervous getting a new car and getting use to driving it. I spent a whole week sitting in my new Mercedes CLE; clicking all the buttons and reading the manual from cover to cover, before driving it a single inch. Well done and congratulations Gaby.

I am still using my 18 year old Ford, can t stand foreign cars but then again Ford is American often built in Spain

I wish my car had driver assist , I hate reverse parking and I dont know what your like Gabby , but its a cool feature to have .

Lovely car Gaby. I brought my car this time last year from the same place and also had them bring it over from Wales. Was in there sorting it out for 5 hours

A new car for you is much deserved. As someone who does not drive, I still find it interesting to look them over and think, would I go for it. With your choice, I would certainly be well pleased with it. I am sure it will give you many happy miles of motoring.

Gaby, I felt sorry for you, same experience happened to me, bought a Astra, saw pictures of it on line, brought down from Scotland, it was in their garage for two weeks, kept asking them if there were any scratches on the car and if the interior was ok, they said it was mint, when I first saw it I could of cried, bonnet and gearstick had lots of scratches and rust marks, long story short, driving home, the gears felt funny, next day, I went shopping with my family, got into the car to drive home, and it wouldn’t start, rang for help, and apparently, a fault of the Astra, I had to pump up the clutch to drive it home, gave it back to them, now I have a Capture, and I am a lot happier, good luck with yours x

Just remember Gaby, you have 30 days warranty, I was lucky in away, if it was after the thirty days I would have been stuck with it, it happened on day 2 of collecting it, and it hadn’t been cleaned probably, but the Capture was mint and perfect in every way, I wish you luck, and love watching your videos and Tim’s, you are a fantastic couple who keep it real, all the very best x

Congrats on your new car. I have to agree with Tim on the heated seats. My old car had them and I also used them in the summer with the air conditioning on. My new vehicle doesn't have them, but the next on will. Enjoy your new ride.

With newer cars they don't tend to put a spare wheel in, which I'm not sure is good, I got a second hand spare. They have all this touch screen stuff nowadays to distract you! Easier with push button radios and cassettes and later CD players back in the day!

Brought myself an Audi A3 21 plate from Carshop just before Christmas such a good choice of car Audi is! Great cars! Would suggest getting an ALL in plan from Audi themself in lowestoft £28 a month you get warranty 4 years and up to 100 thousand miles! to sometimes 130 thousand. 2 services 2 MOT's worth it I would say. Enjoy your car is lush.

@@GabyStarbuckx It's 100% worth getting, couldn't recommend it more because as you know in the future fixing stuff isn't cheap on an Audi but with that plan in place it's so worth it. Yes I am thank you, Hope you're enjoying yours.
Also as for your Sat nav! you can either do Car play or buy an Audi Connect License that will allow you the maps

Totally unrelated comment however I have been wondering what part of England you are from originally. You have a wonderful accent. Here in Australia I think one would have to be a linguistic expert to pick the difference in accents from each of our states! Tim doesn't have the same accent as you?

No Tim you don't need heated seats, i've head them in a previous car and nah. not needed, and more to go wrong which is bad for us vehicle technicians/mot testers.

@@GabyStarbuckx I now have a 5 door s3. I was the first owner of it when I worked at Audi in 2017 and I saw it when I took the a1 for its first MOT. We had a staff scheme where we could get a new car once a year. In hindsight I shouldn’t have got it as I was pregnant and didn’t know I was. It’s older than the a1 I had but I love it ☺️
@@nickipiper2801 I’ve never seen the S3 before so is it smaller than the A1 I find the A1 is lower than I realised but it’s still great for space

What sort of company doesn’t tax your car for you and give you some fuel. You don’t seem to have been treated very well. Buying a car is a big purchase and you should have been treated better.
100% they shouldn't have let you anywhere near the road without helping you to tax it, regardless of the last owners situation, the new tax starts with you so doesn't need a post office to sort out, I think they were just being lazy as they were busy. Also as for how filthy they seem to have left the car despite contacting you multiple times to collect seems as though they are just after a quick sale and no customer care. I won't ever be using them

Range rover
I'm afraid I'm going to have to go with tim, had both a land rover and an audi and preferred the land rover greatly, had much more space on the inside and was much more airy with the cream interior and 3 sunrooves compared to the gloomyness of the audi with no sunroof. Would still have the land rover now if it hadn't blow up 🤣🤣😪🔥

@@GabyStarbuckx it was 65 plate and I had it in 2017, travelling down to London ,metal sheared in the engine, metal went through the engine, loud bang, lots of black smoke, stuck on hard shoulder on the motorway. Not pleasant 🤣🤣
Couldn't even tow it as electric parking brake couldn't be released. Had to drop the entire gearbox to make it roll. And then was put onto a low loader.
